LG POLL: NTUKUDE DARES IKONO PEOPLE, YPP

As the 2024 LG Poll gets to date, political parties are ready to deliver their candidates, vis-a-vis.

The Poll taking place tomorrow, October 5th, 2024, seems controversial yet interesting, as some political parties have received tons of threats from the state's ruling party,

The People Democratic Party, PDP, ruling political party of the Governor Umo Eno's led administration in Akwa Ibom state, has been responded to by the Young Progressive Party, YPP in the state, in a press conference held today, 4th October, 2024.

In a video captured during the campaign staged by the People Democratic party, Ikono Chapter, yesterday, October 3, 2024, a PDP Chieftain, Godwin Ntukude, dared the people of Ikono LGA, he said that the government's treasury will be emptied to ensure the PDP takes back Ikono LGA, by force.

Amidst all threats and dares, Member representing Ikono/Ini Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Ukpong-udo also known as Maccaire, has promised his people that Power belongs to YPP.
