The judge didn't read the constitutional duties of the police before issuing such injunction, asking the police not to perform its mandatory roles no matter the political fight is tantamount to judicial rascality
He understand the constitution very well but just looking for anyway to stop the election because of some group of persons. You can only see things like this in failed country with bad leaders.

NBA are talking nonsense

Are police above court orders?
If you were not a m,oron , you would have known that any order or ruling that is inconsistent with the constitution is null and void to the extent of that inconsistency.

Court order is court order. Police must obey. Meanwhile the court did not say don't maintain law and order.

The police must prevent any act capable of bringing about any breakdown of law and order including the illegal election.
So, if a useless judge orders you to sleep with your mum, will you sleep with her because it is a court order?

The police is not in any position to support any election - legal or illegal. They are only to provide security to elections or any other situation that requires security. There are ample provisions within the law to determine the legality or otherwise of election after they have been held.

Wrong. The police can't support illegality were it is manifestly so. Their job is law enforcement and therefore are absolutely in a position to support an election done within the bounds of the law. Providing security is support. What other kind of support do you expect from them? They are not the judiciary. They are law enforcers, and in this instance, they were acting in accordance with a court order.
