Thousands of supporters on Saturday joined Tinok Andrew Nok, a senatorial aspirant in the 2023 general election, as she moved from the New Nigeria Peoples Party to the Labour Party in Kaduna State.

Tinok, the younger sister of former Kaduna State Commissioner of Education, Prof. Andrew Nok, expressed her conviction that the Labour Party shares her ideology of honesty and service to the people.

She noted, “My decision to join the Labour Party is influenced by Senator Nnadi Usman, National Caretaker Committee Chairman of the party,” and promised to leverage her wealth of experience to strengthen the party and contribute to its growth in Kaduna State.

Receiving Tinok into the party, Labour Party’s 2023 governorship candidate, Jonathan Asake, who represented Senator Nnadi Usman, assured that the party is undergoing transition and would harness her expertise to become a viable party in the state and the country at large.

He urged her to bring her experience to bear in repositioning the Labour Party in Kaduna State.

The event also featured the presentation of Labour Party flags ahead of the October 19 local government elections.

Tinok’s defection is seen as a significant boost to the Labour Party in Kaduna State, ahead of the forthcoming elections.

The massive crowd that graced the occasion reflected the enthusiasm and optimism surrounding Tinok’s move to the Labour Party in the state.

With this development, political analysts predict a shift in the balance of power in Kaduna State, with the Labour Party’s growing momentum expected to impact the state’s political landscape.

As the October 19 local government elections approach, all eyes are on the Labour Party’s performance.

Earlier, the State Caretaker Committee Chairman of the party, Mr. Yusuf Solomon Danbaki, assured the candidates in the state council’s election that the party would support them and work tirelessly for their success.

It's high time we started playing politics based on ideology. People and politicians shouldn't just be decamping up and down like sheep without a shepherd.

Do not field Obi else it would still be same old story. You all don't want to learn and accept reality on Nigeria's politics.

The Labour party from the name should be for the masses but why are they only interested in the election and not the election?

shocked

Write it down anywhere or bookmark this.

Peter Obi the presidential candidate of Labour , Kwankwaso his vice. I great revolution will take place in Nigeria politics that will sent a massive shock to the a whole lot of people.

This is not about party politics, this is about everyone coming to rescue Nigeria from the fóolish hand of Tinubu.

Atiku won't contest anymore, a feather weight politician will be given PDP presidential ticket, that will make a lot of PDP supporters to switch allegiance to Labour Party.

Rescuing of our country is the task, after that, we may return back to our respective political parties.

2027 is going to be deadly, inec chairman should be careful, so so careful. All thugs should get ready to meet their creator the Satan that day.

2027 is between Tinubu and Obi. Atiku should forget it cheesy

Kwankwanso is a smart politician he has now realize obi has massive followership 2023 proves it he will likely form an alliance with Lp were by a new Mega party will be form then sign an agreement with Peter obi to run for just a term should he wins why he nominate a vice presidential candidate for him also. Then he replace obi after is tenure.

Labour party should just fold up at this stage.

How will 8000 people joining you from another party make any significant impact when you already have 0 from the start?

The former NNPP members are in for a rude shock. They will soon find out that the Labour Party is not what they think it is.

May God bless Nigeria for ever!
