World Teachers' Day: Governor Sanwo-Olu Hails Lagos Teachers by Lanrelagboi: 6:43am On Oct 07
As we celebrate World Teachers’ Day, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all teachers in Lagos State.

Today, we honor not just the profession of teaching, but the profound impact that teachers have on the lives of our children and the future of our society.

You inspire, nurture, and shape the minds of the next generation, empowering them with knowledge and skills that will serve them for a lifetime. Your dedication, resilience, and unwavering commitment to excellence are commendable, especially in these challenging times.

The role of a teacher extends far beyond the classroom. You are mentors, role models, and guiding lights for our youth. Your influence helps to build a more educated, informed, and compassionate society.

Together, let us invest in the future of education in Lagos State, creating an environment where teachers can flourish and students can achieve their fullest potential.

Thank you for your invaluable contributions and for being the change-makers in our communities.

Happy World Teachers’ Day!

As Peter Obi couldn't employ teachers, there is a reason why Willie Obiano built prisons for your children.

You can't value what you don't have. Deprivation has made you unable to appreciate good things.

I only hope the prisons will be ready by the time you give birth so your generations can feel at home.

In public primary and secondary schools in Lagos, state, they don't just recruit secondary leavers or those idling at home after tertiary education graduation to become teachers.

I celebrate all GOOD teachers and lecturers. If nigeria was a reasonable nation, teachers are supposed to be one of the highest paid professionals for obvious reasons. Same with medical doctors but a nation where people think its OK to r@pe a child or physically assault a pregnant woman, what do you expect
