spontan: Man didn't lie, since these vagabonds (Helinues, yarimo, CyrusIV etc.) said we should all plant every food we eat. We can as well refine our own fuels at home. I've started researching on how to import equipments so I can start refining petrol in my sitting room, while the bedroom will be used for refining diesel. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Smartgeek: As if him cement cheap. Y'all depending on that thief are just dull There's no different between that man and Tinubu, both greedy overambitious thieves. Someone that was saying FG should remove all subsidies and let d fuel price go above #1,500. Dangote is a big crook, if left alone to monopolize that industry, he's going to sell fuel above 3k per liter before 2027. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Tayorshd87: The fact that the same complaints I hear now, are the same complaints I heard under gej, and even under IBB and Abacha, and even buhari and shagari...shows one thing... The Nigerian governments past and present all make the same mistakes. Personally, by the time GEJ was taking over, I was getting tired of making the same complaints and started asking why people were grumbling the same way under gej and under ibb, despite at least 20 years separating both governments....that's when I woke up to a lot of things. |

Rebirth212: You are enjoying education and health subsidy, and also not having half your income taken away in tax or even paying tax on everything. Uk is an example of a saner clime...yet in that UK, they pay income tax, council tax, and power and water bills are very high. Plus other smaller taxes, including a tax paid everytime you buy fuel there...and UK is an oil producting economy. Yes , they pay them well, and yes, free healthcare and so on, but that is about it...even education is not free there anymore.and the tax chops their money If government wanted, they could remove education and health subsidy, and all of a sudden you would be paying above 5 million naira for appendizx removal in hospital. or 10 million for ceasrean section, or fees could reach 200000 or more for primary school, and millions for university. |

Tayorshd87: It does not mean that APC is ruling us well though...there are a lot of things they need to do before the economy gets better....and they are not doing it...same mistakes all their predecessors made. The subsidy removal and even the floating of the naira, was not because they wanted to do it, but because our forex revenue was far far too too low to continue with naira being at N400 to one dillar, and fuel at N200 and below per liter....by 2023. Even now, tinubu is still forcing the cbn governor to take wrong decisions on interest rates self. At the end, Nigerians prefer cheap stuff...that is why most people refused to see reason over subsidy removal over the years. Even me, I was one of them till 2011, when I had my eyes opened. |

nairalanda1: Exactly 💯 they prefer cheap stuff and yet they compare Nigeria with overseas whereby all what they do ain't free and costly too . Naija we prefer to do illegal light than to pay, we prefer to use water and not to pay, we prefer free rent self make we no pay etc . But they can easily compare us with countries that all these things are not free 🆓 |

nairalanda1: May God bless ur generation. Nigerians are too foolish to listen to truth just like what u have said now . The subsidy that has been existing for years has made Nigerians living far from the truth or realities .... Even compare to neighboring countries Nigeria is still paying d cheapest rent and buying the cheapest fuel ⛽ Yet they don't understand. Lastly when Jonathan even before Obasanjo yar'adua regime Nigerians are always saying Nigeria is not good with bad governance etc and today again they are still saying the same . And that was when pump price was around #80 ..... What am just trying to say is we don't understand realities and that's what we are facing now 🙁 ☹️ An affected too though but 1 Like |

nedu666: The problem is, most people have the idea of the UK in mind when they have a vision of what Nigeria should be. OK...lets use Japan, which never colonised anyone in africa, and which had its colonies taken away from them....income tax, and also council tax and also TV tax, and the last one is the worst. Have a tv in japan, pay money to their equivalent of NTA In licence fees. Oh, and yes, the taxes yield fruit..e.xcept for things like university education which costs a lot of money..... At the end of the day, the guy yowled we have no benefit from government....we do, but the problem is, it is not where it should be not just because of corruption, but because government is also not running an economy that makes more money We won't follow the example of china and japan and south korea, which once upon a time were behind us. we want to share money and import the good life. That is why your government is useless. |
