I will suggest you reduce the size. Most newborn caps are a struggle. Illfitting and always falling off. Thankfully yours comes with a rope, but since it stretches, it can be smaller.

Locate a primary health care center in your neighbourhood and go there on antenatal and immunization days with your caps. Those women buy everything when they are pregnant.

My wife enrolled sometime last year but she hasn't done any of late. I know how to knit courtesy of my Primary 5 teacher. I joined the class last year to up my skills but haven't had time to do anything.
I will try to encourage her so that we can at least do an hour every Saturday if possible.
