I think people are doing that jobs while some will say no to it .. it's by choice and we can decide this in a country where there's job everywhere , where one can switch to but in a country where unemployment is at the zenith , na anywhere wey belle face o to get the money..
Thank you for sharing though.

Yea, the man isn't actually saying people shouldn't do those jobs entirely; he's cautioning that if you must do them, you need to be very careful.

Great advice about safety and frostbite.

Personally, I love night shift. Working during cold would take serious discipline or dollars.

easy said than done in europe enviroment. In nigeria, you can take break and nap, you can ague with your supervisor small and tell him reasons why you need rest. But over there, they see you as rubot, any attemp to take a rest, you will be threatning with sack and deportation

Ok

In the early 90s, i got a job to work in the kitchen of a major hotel in Detroit. The hot plates kept coming out of the washing machine at a very fast pace. I couldn't keep up.
I went to lunch around 12pm and never returned. They had to mail me my check for the couple of hours that i worked there.
That's an experience that I'll never forget.

All these fall under menial jobs. If you must take up such jobs it should be on 20hrs weekly. In such case you have much tym for yourself to heal also. Staying idle won't fetch you money and over working to impress your account is a zero point. Be wise and stay safe.
