So you idiots are still believing you have equal or even more stake in Lagos .

You idiots still believe you developed Lagos from scratch .

I don't blame you at all.

Yorubas have been too kind to you.

They chased you out of the north.

They chased you out of SS and consficated the few properties you had there.

In western Cameroun , when it was still under Nigeria, you still exhibited your lousy nuisance behaviour.

But the irony here is that you can't for the sake of preserving your necks even go back and settle in your homeland.

Has it dawned to you that you might be the problem ? Even in far away Ghana, Liberia , SA , India , Thailand they now know you for what you are - an invasive pest .

U are a tribal bigot and seun should ban people like u for life , to safe this forum... what the 4k is " yorubas should not allow igbos " and fools like u will talk about racism ... Imagine a white man telling blacks to go back to Africa and that America is not their land ...he will be arrested for hate comments ... then why sell ur properties to igbos ... in America, if you invest upto half a million dollars , u become an American citizen and u automatically become a part of America and that state that person invested in becomes the persons state of residence ... are u too stupid to know that igbos pay tax ... if u think ur tribe is so smart and they made lagos ... why is oyo , ogun ekiti ondo and osun like old slums ...why don't people from other tribes migrate there....so because lagos was lucky to be made capital in the 1900s , over 100yrs ago due to its coastal area ... Will yorubas even be classified as the 3rd tribe in Nigeria?? If the colonial masters decided to leave the capital at calabar and not have anything thing serious to do with lagos ...u think say una go get mouth now ... u guys would have been a minority tribe like itshekiri or ijaws today ... u guys have no resources or contribution to this nation apart from lagos being a commercial city .... u should be ashamed of urself

the picture in the topic is from the 60s or 70s. All the places you are mentioning are not even up to 20% of Lagos. When did people start going to build houses in iyana iba, ikorodu, Alimosho, abule egba and co. Its was late 90s and 20s. All the swamps and lands over looking canals were empty. Today no space again

In 2010 i escorted someone to buy land. Omo onile guys there camped under a big tree. There were many trees all over and empty space. 10 years later no space again

The capital of Nigeria ( lagos ) that was about 70yrs as state capital when that pic was taken , Can't have been 20% developed.... u should think about it... Abuja has been capital for just over 30yrs ... and its at least 70% developed.. then talkless of lagos in the 70s

Idiot, buying land does not grant your ownership of the entire state.

You entered a private business deal and not a citizenship acquisition.

Also, no non indigene owns any land . All lands are in the hands of the indigenous people who rent and not sell land to you .

Even if you get Government CoO it will be a tenured agreement for 99ys only and the ownership right can be revoked.

Buying land anywhere in Nigeria does not make you an indigene.

Your village is the only place you have full indigeneship rights.

In that your same village in the SE do you sell lands to outsiders ? No.

The indigenous peoples supreme ownership of their lands is not in dispute and this is what the people of PH used in chasing you out of their land.

So, do not conflate one Nigeria giving you the right to roam allover the place as the same as conferring indigeneship wherever your roaming carries you to settle.

Hope I have made myself clear.

Simply Put: A Lagos, probably Guv Lateef Jakande era, before, before, Tinubu happened! Then he unleashed his ilks & societal dregs: thugs, touts, agberos, miscreants, sycophants, brutes, et Al!

Guz: if una compare Sage Pay Awos, nay, Righteous Guv Lateef Jakande's legacies to Tinubu's, guz: it will take Real Lagosians & Lagos almost 40 years to recover from BAT's cancer on youths! Nevertheless, a Fresh, New Lagos is Possible!

Is it that terrible in that your shithole yeast that you are willing to do anything to avoid it?

I have told you , this is Africa and the people are tied to their ancestral lands. The FG is fully aware of this. The only problem is fools like you who think the one Nigeria franchise that gives you right to roam under her soverign realms also confers on your indigeneship citizenship anywhere your Israelite waka carry you go settle.

Is this not why it's only you Ibos that are kicking against state of origins and calling for it to be replaced with state of residence ?

So that in future you will refer to yourself as Lagos Ibo .

Tueh!

You are so shameless I swear

If you are not claiming Jew you are dragging other people's lands.

0koro, go home and make it your castle and stop dragging the heritage and inheritance of others. The indigenes of Nigeria also have plans to bequeath the land they got from their ancestors to their children. Go to your ancestral land and stop dragging the land of others.

Is this too hard?

A tranquil , peaceful and serene Lagos before the coming of the people our Lagos ancestors called Atoun-rinwa ( strangers from yonder)

I wish we could have that Lagos again!
We can still have this kind of Lagos if we follow laws and orders. Yorubas did this to our selves. Our strange forefathers from Sierra Leone built Lagos and we just found a water-buffalo in the rainforest wilderness and we just continued to butcher and didn’t even know if it was drowned.

As black folks we lack the capacity govern ourselves because we don’t follow laws. Tinubu introduced the cancer canker worms called Agberos to Lagos and they have messed up the tranquil of Lagos for life unless a pragmatic leader comes in to change things around.

Obaship should have been the things of the past if we want progress. Obas and questionable politicians teamed up together to proliferate Agbero for the kickbacks that come with tolls’ collection.

Nigeria is one but if Yorubas follow rules of law, there won’t be so much Igbos or Hausas in Lagos today. The influx of people from neighboring regions of Nigeria messed up Lagos.

You can correct this wrong doing by introducing a mandatory database for all residents and in that way, Yoruba region, which is the most prosperous region in Nigeria, can have a check-n-balance to know how many vehicles plying SW region, how many folks living in SW region. And Federal Government should be held accountable for the sustenances of Ibos and Hausas that join us and should be orientated on customs and laws in Yorubaland.

You want to live like your forefathers in the past with influx of refugees from other regions can cause trouble in future.

Hundreds of thousands of Ibos and Hausas rush to Lagos every month and during elections, they automatically have rights to vote in our region elections without us giving them power to be voted for can also cause problem in future. I have been living in USA for more than 18 years and because I am not a citizen, I cannot vote and if I mistakenly voted and got caught, it is deportation.

Ibos come to our land for the proliferation of their kiosks and take jobs away from millions of Yorubas in SW region and that is why we need to promote franchised stores and reduce kiosks.

The archaic system of Obaship with no constitution power but titular leadership also a curse to Yorubaland; because in such a controlled system, talents wither and die of natural cause.

This was Lagos then when the economic refugees and village dwellers from across the river Niger had not swamped into Lagos. No selling of okrika, selling of fake shoes and bags at every bus stop and corners of Lagos. Back then progressive Yorubas and other smaller ethnic groups in Lagos were coordinating themselves well, till the devilish souls started fleeing their enclave into Lagos.
Now you can't sleep with two eyes closed cos one miscreant from Anambra or Abia is likely waiting for nightfall to remove brainbox from parked cars that they will carry to Alaba to sell as tokunbo parts.

Oh Lagos.. how I wish sanity can come back to the State.

Pepper the Ibos well, time and history, have revealed that they cannot compete with anything with Yorubas and that is why they rush like hapless moths to flames.

Every bitter truth is hate speech.

You will explain how you and your people came to the conclusion that you developed and own Lagos .

You can play make believe with your Jewish nonesense but claiming any inch of land outside your tribal enclave will not fly.

Last time you tried that rubbish you paid dearly for it.

You're talking like someone not enlightened.

Lagos was federal capital and commerical business hub of the nation. People would naturally be attracted to the city.

I am sure you are not original Lagos protegy. You are one of those Yorubas who came to appropriate the political heritage of Lagos in the name of Oduduwa.

So, don't blame people from the "neighboring states" including your self not from Lagos.
