Some bitter mofos want me to believe that someone who met Lagos IGR in 1999 at #600million and took it to #6billion monthly and today due to his visionary leadership in Lagos, the state IGR has increased to nothing less than #60 billion monthly, that that person is not the one who built the place? May be they should tell me how to build something?
Meanwhile they want to me praise someone who met Anambra IGR in 2006 at #600million monthly and paltry raise it to just over #700 million on monthly basis after the whole of his 8 years in office. While his immediate predecessor (Obiano) in the same state raise the IGR from that #700million to #3.5billion monthly after just a year in office.
Bcs they know Obi failed to build Anambra, they also want to imprint it on my head that Tinubu also didn't build Lagos. May be you oloriburuku people should tell me how to build something? undecided

Try to understand how Nigeria operates, Lagos progresses because they are ripping off other regions by been only place that have working international airport and Seaports, other regions are blocked politically by having that , also favoured by being former capital of Nigeria. Abuja on the other hand is the capital of Nigeria been developed by oil money the same way Lagos was developed as capital of Nigeria for more than 30 years with oil money, no other state have that privileges in Nigeria.
Stop explaining to trolls and Apcheat bots grin

No one is preventing anyone from developing port and international airport in their land.

But why is it only Lagos that's progressing and moving forward while the other states are moving backwards?
That only place that's trying to keep pace with Lagos is Abuja and that's only because of the presence of Wike. Every other state is just moving backward angry
The cowry or owo is the probable name for the currency of the SW as an independent entity going forward. Regionalism is the name of the game!

Understand what ?
Other states also have core advantages...
What of investing massively in Agriculture ...
Kenya is doing 4.6 billion litres of milk per year ...
That sector is providing means of livelihood ...
for 1.8 million smallholder households......
India is the 2nd largest producer of rice in the world .......
Rice sector employs 54.60% of India's total workforce.......
Cocoa.. Rubber ...etc still dey ...
U can also create processing industries from these Agric products...
We have land. Water. Population..... good weather and yet we are hungry .....
It is high time for states to stand up ...to feed Nigeria and feed Africa....
Lazy governors ..Lazy states..

Regarding Calabar port

She confirmed that Calabar Port has become active and very functional, adding that the ocean-going vessels conveying bulk cargo, dry and wet, and general cargoes arriving at Calabar Port are significant. Bassey also added that 16 to 18 mega ships of up to 190 LOA capacity now berth at the port every month

The developers will still complain despite their region in shambles. They are the only set of people that never see what's wrong in their backyard but can narrate what goes on in another man's own

This is a PLOT by yoruba leaders only the lagos and south west region should develop while others regions should go on turmoil,Sunday Igboho a south west seperatist is enjoying freedom on the same thing MNK is kept behind bars,NW,NC&NE are going through challenges of insecurity,SE unknown gunmen,SS federal sponsored political instability so that they continue to misexploit the region only forLagos state to enjoy Federal railways and other railways indirectly being financed with resources from niger delta. The niger delta with all resources extracted to sustain the economy of the country cannot boast of any good road neither railways from the centre.

God bless Nigeria.

God bless Lagos.

God bless the former governors of Lagos who have progressively played their part in developing Lagos.

God bless the present governor of Lagos.

Before I go, it would be nice to have a list of the enemies of Lagos who were even considering replacing this hardworking governor with one intern who is a protege of lamba king. Those kind of people need mental evaluation and some of form of psychological help.

You're giving lame excuses for the failure of politicians of another state to develop their respective states.
Wear your thinking cap, and ask yourself, how can Lagos state ( governed by Yoruba men) block the development and progression of other states?
What you and your ilks fails to realize is that a seaport and airport are capital intensive that will require loan from a financial partner. Lagos and Abuja finance are well managed and can easily get loans from foreign investors. Other states return of investment from capital projects is next to nothing. No investor will attempt to throw that amount of money.

I wish other States and Regions can encourage development!

The monies we loot rather than use to develop our States and Regions, isn't it enough

Rather than appointment based on merit, we appoint based on who your daddy or mummy was and is.

We need rapid development in all nooks and crannies of Nigeria so that destinies will not be truncated.

I honestly can't wait to use this train too.

Because no state has the type of income Lagos gets.

And if a state were to try to get that kind of income, there would be complaints of overtaxation

Also Lagos does need a metro. Apart from Lagos very few Nigerian cities are large enough to merit a metro system.

A system built on injustice , subjugation and greed will always manifest with excuses as landmass .

In a proper independent Nation (not Royal Niger company), you will need a metro from Nnewi to Niger bridge.

Metro should be a normal way of transportation to ease of road transportation.(intra-state)

😩OMG, I hate annoying statements or questions like this when the answer is sooo obvious. Lagos was not just the capital of our nation but more importantly is still Nigeria's leading econominc hub while Abuja is the capital, end of story.

And just to clarify I'm not Yoruba(...well kinda) or one of these many fake Lagosian, Yoruba nutcases you'll find on here.

Same country, different madness

Very true and in some other places, a group of people is stopping their fathers and mothers from going out on certain days and even murdering and burning those who go out in search for daily bread.
