Hello all, Pls I really need all your help. My wife and two children are all British citizens and are currently living in the UK. Pls i want to know how much should be in my account as cash saving for six months before I can apply for a spouse visa due to I'm not a salary earner |
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by claremont(m): 10:24pm On Aug 31, 2018 |
Cruzenchelon080: £62,500.

Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Veacon: 10:32pm On Aug 31, 2018 |
Cruzenchelon080: If your wife works in the UK and earns above £18600 annually, then no need for cash savings, you only need to show her six months payslip (I.e. if she's been in same job for six months or more), and some documents from her work to back it up and you are good....if you have the patience to read from page one of this thread, you'll find all the info you need for the spouse (Settlement) visa application. Cheers! |

Hello house ...finally i am posting here. Been a silent reader for a while now. My timeline: Category: UK Spouse settlement visa (non priority) Online application submitted: March 3rd 2018 Biometrics taken: March 6th Supporting documents sent: 20th March ECO assigned email: April 11th Hubby contacted by Eco: June 14 No news from them after that. Have escalated twice (last one being on August 22) Been waiting for 5months from Biometrics day and 4months from Email confirmation day... I didn’t think i had this virtue (patience), until now. Good luck to all of us waiting for the positive response. 1 Like |

VeveC: Wow! Now I’m worried for myself oh. My son and I did our Bio on the 26th of June. 13th of July we got an email to pay IHS for my son and our application as been assigned to ECO. Fingers crossed we shall all hear our good news this month! 2 Likes |

Does any body know how to chase up the judge to write the decision letter after a fist tier tribunal appeal? This wait is killing me. Too much waiting at every stage |
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Lexusgs430: 2:02pm On Sep 03, 2018 |
Sholeola23: Normally after a judgement is delivered, the court clerk would send judgments to all concerned (directly or indirectly)........ How are you sure this has not been done? Did Home office tell you this? |

Extremebeau: haba it is not as difficult as most peeps makes it. do the minimum requirement dem asked and u should be fine. we just picked up a visa not long and i didnt even put much effort into it but made sure i gave dem no excuse (technically). couldn't find my contract of employment and some oda shite like dat. so went to my bin pile stuck my hand in brought out anything with my company logo on it off it went to sheffield. please dont try it though cause i met the reguirements anyways but cant be bothered to look for them. hope they send my shite back. |
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Extremebeau: 7:52pm On Sep 03, 2018 |
ricki: Not everyone can be as lucky..u cant say its not as difficult as ppl make it....remember its not one Eco looking at all d applications. Different ppl look for different things...so its better to b safe than sorry...i included any and all documents that will help my case because i already didnt hv a good immigration record so i left no room for doubt...my hubby wasnt called neither was his office called and we got out visa right ontime depite the fact it was a standard application..ive never taken anything more serious than d way i took my application 2 Likes |

Hello everyone, I found out this thread a few days after my application but still read every single page. Type : settlement fiancé visa Priority : No Date of application : 17/03/2018 Biometrics : 21/03/2018 Documents sent : 31/03/2018 Documents received email: 13/04/2018 Application not straightforward : 14/06/2018 Email requesting payment of IHS Fee : 25/06/2018 (payment done immediately) Escalation by MP : 18/07/2018 Escalation by email 1 : 19/07/2018 Escalation by phone call : 25/07/2018 Escalation by email 2 : 09/08/2018 Escalation by email 3 : 17/08/2018 MP reply confirming visa approved : 21/08/2018 Decision made : 23/08/2018 Ready for collection : 24/08/2018 Passport picked : 03/09/2018 Visa dated from : 21/08/2018 - 21/02/2019 A few things to note, 1. I applied for a fiancé visa for my wedding on 01/09/2018. I didn’t have to pay for the IHS as this visa is only for 6 months and I would have switched to a spouse visa after marriage. We had put down wedding deposits for a venue, caterer, etc. Due to the delay, we lost almost £6k in deposits because our wedding insurance couldn’t cover everything. 2. We did our traditional wedding in June in Lagos and My greatest regret was not just going to the registry and going for full spouse visa but I thought it was the most straightforward application. 3. 4 different guests who used our wedding IV cards for their visa application as proof of purpose of visits all had their visas way before mine. 4. A few hours after the email to collect my passport, I fainted and needed emergency surgery as I had a ruptured appendix that previously gave no symptoms. My husband had to come 2 days after and he’s still with me. 5. I’ll end up going back to the UK at the end of the month or whenever I’m stronger. 1 Like |

nkembaby008: Congratulations...... On a lighter note, are you sure it's not the email arriving that ruptured your appendix? Some emails can easily carry heavy weight on the heart, appendix + liver....... |
