Dydaa: Priority for wife and daughter Application transferred to UKVI 28/08/2018 Escalated to my local MP to chase and take 15/10/18 off the time and cost consuming phone calls. MP reassured us that we are okay and no issues. Visas granted for wife and daughter 15/11/18 Advices for others; be honest and read thier guidelines. Put time into the process and communicate with your partner. Flight to depart for my wife and daughter 26 Nov Thanks to everyone for taking the time out to answer our questions! 5 Likes |

Lexusgs430: I am getting ready to apply for British Citizen for my daughter when she arrives in 2 weeks time and wondered if anyone can break this down for me. I was born in Nigeria and gained British through naturalisation years back. My parents were born in Nigeria and British if that helps to answer my question. Thanks "Your parent is British by descent and lived in the UK or a British Overseas territory for at least 3 years before you were born "Your parent is British by descent and you and your parents (unless they are legally separated) are now living in the UK or a British Overseas territory |

Lexusgs430: Which option do I choose? |

Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by newbie715: 11:18pm On Nov 18, 2018 |
deji2009: I am a bit confused: 'Your parent' as you wrote here, is that in reference to you deji2009 as the father of your daughter or is that your own parents as the grandparents of your daughter. If it refers to you then none of them is correct for you because if you got your British citizenship by naturalisation then you are British otherwise than by descent so you can't pick any of those options. Just out of curiosity, you said you are applying for British citizenship for your daughter but since you are British by naturalisation, why not apply for her British passport straight away. |

Lexusgs430: Hi everyone, I’ll be applying this week but my husband lost his payslip for September. He had to print the one online which is different from the others. His employer didn’t sign it neither does it have a stamp, but he mentioned it in the employer’s letter that all payslips are genuine. Will this be a problem or has anyone been in a situation like this and still got their visa? Please help. Also, please how will I pay for priority? When I go for bio at TLS? |

Veacon: Would be very difficult to plan the logistics of an inspection, with the landlord or estate agents. It's best to organize inspection, when the tenant has signed for the property and is resident......... Is the property an HMO ? |
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Lexusgs430: 10:55pm On Nov 20, 2018 |
Mrschubby: What I would advise you is, Submit the originals you have + extra printed online copies. In essence, assuming you are submitting January - June...... Submit double copies of all, that counters the lost one and also include an explanation............... |
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Priorygroup: 10:56pm On Nov 20, 2018 |
readynow:Yeah I used the gov.uk/ BRP. I told them to deliver it to my home address, I got an email from BRP Department on the 15th of Nov saying my BRP will be delivered 3-5 working days. Hopefully I will get it before Friday by Gods grace. My hubby was able to my Sons own from the post office. But you can still go ahead with other stuffs like NI interview, GP registration etc. |

Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Lexusgs430: 11:10pm On Nov 20, 2018 |
