Appletek: They have turned themselves you should say. EFCC has nothing to do with Yahoo boys it's the job of police officers not EFCC. Economic means government resources not private the police deal with private. |

This is very similar to claims people have made that the American FBI was founded unconstitutionally. We need an agency like the EFCC, except this present organization seems to have lost it's way and also appears to have been compromised by the rich and mighty, so they only get to flex on small boys. But reforming the EFCC is not on the agenda for T-Pain, only mandatory weight loss for the citizens through his economic policies. Wait a minute, this might be T-Pain's health policy! |

Funflipper: Then the agency has no need of being in existence. It's a waste of tax payers fund. Their budget should be channeled to other effective and efficient agency. |

Even though if EFCC is unconstitutional. If anyone think the supreme court will rule that it is truly unconstitutional, then such person is deceiving himself and doesn't know what is up in today's Nigeria. If the supreme court can rule and gave validity to when naira will expire and turn themselves to a branch of CBN that determine monetary policy while the one constitutional recognised are thrown into gaol. If they can also gave judgement that empowered the FG to disburse local government council monthly accrual to their account, with no known section of our law to buttress that. Who told anyone that supreme court will have the guts to say truly what the law says. Supreme court now formulate law and don't interpret law. My big joy is this. It was the same governors that took the case of naira design to court. This just reminds me of the saying in Yoruba parlance, when you point one finger to someone, always remember the other 4 are pointing directly at you. That's what is happening to the governor now. Never in life support evil, because time is a big deal, it may come back to hurt you. 1 Like |

Agbakoba has gone too cold...perhaps colluding, wining and dining with his benefactors...and T-Pain behind close doors....I hope I am wrong because I too respect this man.....I recall his days in the forefront of the struggle against successive military regimes and the huge blackeye they gave in in detention |

frog12: Dr Agbakoba Should Come Straight: •Honestly,I don't understand Dr Agbakoba's Standing o,as he needs to break his position down to a layman's specifics! -Is this not same EFCC that have been Operating since the OBJ era-so how come he just wants it dismantled now? -Many Governors have been imprisoned and many are in jail, and many are still on the RUN for they can't Accounts for the Humongous Funds/ Money they Spent on their Personal lives, while their States is in Abject Poverty, instead on the States, including Fake-Budgets of many State Govt- and Ministers.e.g Nigeria Air- during Seriake in Buhari Era. -EFCC ,ICPC,may Not be Perfect, that is why the Legislatures are to Streamline these Laws but Nigerian Legislatures are the real Enemies of the Nation,as they smell in Corruption- both in States and the Federal Level.e.g you remember Elumelu House Committee on DISCOS allegations of Corruption- as they kick started the Legislative ----Oversights,Only for it to Sine- die, since 4- yrs ago! Same thing with many States Govts,if not All. •Dr Agbakoba know all these,so what is he saying or is he trying to protect certain Interests or what,as a Senior Lawyer? He should tell Nigerians-what we don't know. |
