Reno Omokri Replies GRV Over Lagos State's ₦‎85,000 Minimum Wage Criticism by adamusuleiman3: 8:43pm On Oct 18
It is pathetic that Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour criticised the ₦85,000 minimum wage paid by the Lagos State Government under the excellent leadership of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. One would have thought that if GRV had any criticism, it would have been for his own fellow Labour Party member, Governor Alex Otti of Abia, who is even struggling to pay the old minimum wage of ₦30,000, talk more of the new minimum wage of at least ₦70,000.

If Mr. Rhodes-Vivour really loves Nigerians, he and Peter Obi should ask Alex Otti to stop commissioning bus stops as his signature project in 2024, and instead of buying exotic luxurious cars for himself and his aides and cronies, to clear the backlog of salaries of the long-suffering workers of Abia State.

That is what GRV ought to be doing rather than criticising the performing Governor of Lagos, who does not owe salaries and has commissioned world-class infrastructure, such as the Red Line metro, housing estates, bridges, flyovers, and heavy industries in 2024.

Lagos has the highest wage bill and yet pays the least minimum wage. That is what you call a responsible government.

May God bless Nigeria for ever!

TBH, I love GRV but he goofed on this one. Sanwo Olu did the right thing and 85k isn't bad at all. The focus should be on implementation and not mere words for media validation.

85k is the highest in the country right now, hopefully Lagos won't promise and delay like their oga who promised 70k minimum wage and is yet to pay ordinary corps members.

Lagos has been paying 70k since the beginning of the year. They are definitely going to pay that 85k and there are talks that it's even going up next year.

To me you like a mosquito. Both of you have the same nuisance value. Some folks on nairaland would disagree with me strongly, saying you have a far worse nuisance value undecided

No vex, anywhere I see a mosquito or anything closely resembling it, my impulse is to raise my hand and slap.

Reno Omokri is a rabble rouser

Rhodes vivor is from Lagos State, and he is more interested in what happens in Lagos State than any other state.

I don't understand why nairalanders feel we must know what Reno thinks. If I don't hear from him ever again my life will be just fine.

If PO talks about Lagos, Reno will ask him to go and talk about Anambra.
Now a Lagos Indigene has talked about Lagos Reno is asking him to talk about Abia.

Reno, I know they have made you admin in the APC bigotry WhatsApp group that's why your members up this comment have taken you as a role model.

After all these your nonsense you will still never smell any political appointment.

Reno should sometimes learn not to dabble in all matters. How does this guy breathe? I mean for someone who openly criticized Buhari, protested against everything APC and BAT, is now doing this? Omo may God not allow us go back to lick our vomit.
