I have two young caucasian shepherds. It's been a challenge feeding them well and I have had to devise some clever ways in this economy. I have stopped buying canned food and dry kibbles. I go to market,buy dry corn grains, guinea corn, and dry fish crumbs and grind them at the market. Then I make swallow for them. The luck I have is that my dogs are not selective eaters. They eat anything I give them. This is my method. Share yours

I also do the same but if I make it as swallow the dog poop becomes watery. So I make it as soup and then use white rice. The problem is that rice now is also expensive.

It's so crazy to raise those high breeds if you don't have enough cashflow in this economy.

I don't have for now to share experience but you have to review the reason you're having those dogs.

Such ration you mentioned here is not balanced as there's low protein, especially animal proteins for your canine.

You can also try to visit canteens to get food wastes. You can find 1 or 2 to familiarize with so you can get them with just a tip, especially their workers.
