Obasanjo’s Issue With Tinubu Has Nothing To Do With Planning And Everything To Do With Envy – Afenifere

Yoruba Nation??
Throwing up unverifiable statistics as Tinubu government's achievements while hunger and disease hammer Nigeria's masses.

The masked leaders of Yoruba Nation agitators?
Common sense says that this is the Yoruba group that floats Yoruba Nation agitation group as blackmail on rest of Nigeria for the group to grab or stay put in Aso Rock.

Before the last presidential election, this Yoruba Nation group rented the air for secession from Nigeria, in its bid to tell Buhari group: look, if you don't concede Aso Rock to us, we shall seceed from Nigeria. Buhari group yielded.
Members of the group even waved Oduduwa Republic flags on the grounds of London's Chatham House as they praised Bola Tinubu speaking inside the house.

Every time excess pressure mounts on president Tinubu, this Yoruba Nation agitation group roam the streets of Yoruba land and London asking for Yoruba Nation.
They go underground when the pressure on president Tinubu subsides.

Liars! So, Tinubu's renewed hope was to cause hunger and hopelessness.
Destroy the biggest economy in sub-Saharan Africa to be comparable with Venezuelans, Yemenis and Myanmar.
Fools deceiving themselves, yet think they are following others.

He promised during elections and he stated delivering from eagle square. That's a strong man with balls.

I can't believe any sane human can defend Tinubu even after the economy has been damaged to this level. You're likely a mad man.

The problem is that majority of you are emotional who doesn't like different opinion aside yours. I am defending him using my phone and not yours. I think you should respect my opinion.

None of the candidates will turn out different because they all will remove subsidy and devalue currency (Obi reiterated same recently). None of them know the outcome until it's done. Spectator can easily said I would have done it the other way because he can now see the outcome.
Good luck to you

The dream of obasanjo is that no one from SW would ever be the president when he is still alive which God said No, that is why he is not happy and extremely upset that his occultic arrangement and agreement failed same way that nwannem idiot called obi want to make sure no igbo man will dare say he want to vie for presidency and he has successfully did it to cowed entire region into submission to the extend no politician dare say I want or I wish to contest for presidency.
I know they will come here and start barking like dogs because truth annoys them like mad the moment you confron them with reality they run naked to market square.
Are you even fighting OBJ because he supported Obi? This is a behavior we’ve seen in certain people in Nigeria, where they can abandon their own child because his mother is Igbo. When I mention a tribe with such behavior, everyone knows who I’m referring to, except for the few good ones who were not raised with the tribal sauce of hate and bigotry.

In just 18 months, Mr Tinubu has brought in more far reaching reforms than Mr Obasanjo did in 8 years.

The only thing I remember of the Obasanjo era is debt forgiveness and banking reforms.

Most of the endemic problems Nigeria faces today, including wanton corruption by the political class, election malpractices, political assassinations started under Mr Obasanjo's watch.

Yes he actually started and encouraged corruption by given 30 Million each to the military men he forcefully retired then to join politics if they wish. So as not to stage coup. Reason we have a lot of retired military guys in politics with failures

If we have to take the stock ...

Since the return of democracy in 1999, OBJ still stands tall among ex-Presidents to have delivered the most positive economic impact on Nigerians.

Whether T-Pain will beat that record is left for time to prove .

The price of crude oil peaked during Obasanjo's regime so he had a lot working in his favour when he became president.

On the other hand Tinubu inherited an economy that was dead due to the mess Buhari left behind

And who was responsible for bringing Buhari to the limelight and his party?

Who defended his policy for 8 years?

Who said he want to continue Buhari's legacy
And is he NOT continuing Buharis policy of failure ?

U see, tribalism and "I must rep my tribe" is really making many of you sound stupid

Opportunist tinubu. He took advantage of obj retirement from politics, same as Tony anenih, Sam ogbemudia, and the pdp division to propel himself. When obj dey government, who know tinubu? local champion
OBJ was not actually too recognized. He became military head of state by chance. He was really afraid and that's why he didn't fail to hand over as promised.

Abacha jailed him when he tried to run his mouth. No body including the west fought for his release. The prime people that gave Abacha big fight both in and outside the country were NADECO and Tinubu was a front line fighter.

Upon the death of MKO in prison it was obvious to the north that if Nigeria must remain one then the president must come from the west. All major political parties made sure that their presidential candidates came from the west.

The two major ones from the west where Olu Falaye and OBJ. In terms of quality on all rounds everyone knew that Olu Falaye was far ahead of OBJ. Olu Falaye was considered by the north as awoist, hardliner and unbendable. And to OBJ they were looking at him with his disposition during his military regime.

To the north the better of the two devils i.e. dancing to their will was OBJ. So they backed him to win. Even when he wasn't a founding member of PDP and Alex Ekwueme offered more appeal during the primary. But the very best of that time was Olu Falaye of a different party. So OBJ though fair but not as super as thinks he is.

He has always benefited from unexpected painful circumstance of others viz:

Became military ruler because of assassination of Murtala Mohammed.

Became president because of the circumstance that Abiola died.

All of them will remove subsidy, and devalue currency. Open reiterated currency devaluation again recently. None of them can capture the magnitude of the effects of the two policies ,but they feel it's necessary. Do not mind what other candidates are saying after they saw the effects, spectator can play better than Ronaldo and Messi. Nigeria had gone through maintenance for too long instead of overhaul. Nigeria needs to free resources from different subsidies that benefits the business class alone. We need infrastructures, education, health care facilities that will benefit everybody. Until income is retained, it is impossible to clearly see needs and then channel resources to them.
I don't trust all of them, but we need to relax and give anyone there benefit of doubt. Enough of fake identity of them the social media portrayed, we need to give them chance to experience them and judge ourselves, but 17 months is not enough to judge.

Emilokan is a mere use of word, anyone can play with word. Media is crazy, we don't have to accept their definitions all the time.

I didnt ask you about subsidy. you claimed

was tinubu palying with "emilokan" when he said "emilokan"?

what is the meaning of "emilokan"?

what are the essence of "emilokan" and reducing purchasing power?

how has "nigeria gone through maintenance for too long"?

what is the recommended stipulated time for "maintenance"?

what are the different subsidies and how are they responsible for not freeing up resources?

which resources are you referring to here?

how have subsidies benefitted the business class alone?

if you "need infrastructures, education, health care facilities that will benefit everybody", how is subsidy preventing you from having those things?

are there no yearly budgetary allocations for those things?

which income is not being retained?

who and what is responsible for the income not being retained?

how is 17months not enough to judge?

if you give a contractor a 4year contract to execute a job, lets say to build a house, will you wait for the end of the 4years to access if he is executing the contract to specification or you will begin assessing him from day to ensure that he executes the contract to specification?

We're not proned to these economic change of policies repercussions! So let's stop playing politics and be logical... Wether or not we're getting out of the woods soon, it's expected that we face these hardships after floating our currency!

what does tinubu have that will make obasanjo do such?

Obasanjo wants to carry the title of the only Yoruba man that was democratically elected as president till he dies but God proved him wrong.

He likes being the only one and thinking others are not as intelligent as him. If not, why writing and even publicly dismantling the government of Jonathan, Buhari and now Tinubu. Is he the only elder statesman in Nigeria?

At that age, people look for how to unite their country not uttering utterance that can further escalate the troubled political atmosphere of their country.
