Before anyone decides to criticize Isreal attack on Iran as not being enough, please remember that you shouldn’t underestimate the significance of the attack. No other country has even dared to hit Iran inside Iran since the Iran-Iraq war 40 years ago. Isreal took out all their AD and RCPs in 30 minutes across Iran, Syria and Iraq before striking the targets.

This is another humiliation for the Iranian regime and for all their proxies.

None of this would have even been necessary had the international community had a ball between them and stopped Iran and its proxies. For one, the S-300 system is heavily based on 1970s and 1980s technology, which already renders it woefully ineffective at detecting stealth aircraft and missiles. It's called stealth for a reason.

So, I'd go with the latter. The S-300 is grossly overrated when pitted against the kind of technology Israel, USA and a few posses.

I thought Russia delivered an S-400 Air-Defense System to Iran a few weeks ago.

Seems the F-35 is specifically designed to take out S-300 and other Russian junks.
