Infinix HOT 50 Pro Plus Review: Slim Design, Big Performance On A Budget by CareBear16: 10:22am On Oct 29 |
Alright, tech fam, get ready to meet what might just be the slickest gaming phone to land this year—the Infinix HOT 50 Pro Plus! This slim beauty brings the heat with a good price tag and plenty of features that’ll keep you smiling without breaking the bank. This device packs a Helio G100 chipset, making it a first in its price range. Yep, we're talking about a phone that not only brings great performance but also surprises with a stunning display, impressive cameras, and more goodies. Ready to see how it handled the daily grind? Let’s dive into the review! For reference, the test model is the 8GB of RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. Design & Feel The test unit is the Titanium Grey. The look is classy and light as a feather at only 162 grams with a 6.8mm slim profile. This thing feels incredible to hold, and I'm still trying to wrap my head around how they packed in all that power! Bonus points for style! The HOT 50 Pro+ rocks square camera modules. Not gonna lie, it’s a cool change from the usual round setups. Up front, you’re getting a curved display that just begs for bingeing, browsing, and gaming marathons. More on that in a sec! The phone is also IP54-rated for splash and dust resistance, so it’s safe from everyday messes, plus it’s tough on scratches and bending. For the layout, you’ll find volume and power buttons on the right, a super clean left side, and at the bottom, dual speakers, a USB Type-C, and a SIM tray with room for two SIMs and a microSD. Up top, there’s the other speaker and a mic. It’s like they thought of everything here! Display, Sound, & Security Let’s talk visuals: the HOT 50 Pro+ sports a curved AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. At a peak brightness of 1,300 nits, it performs solidly outdoors, so no squinting in the sun. Screen-wise, it really punches above its weight compared to others in this range, which usually offer LCDs. AMOLED’s deeper blacks and lower battery use make it a no-brainer for movies and games. Sound? JBL-tuned dual stereo speakers for the win! It’s surprisingly loud, especially with that dual-speaker setup. I wasn’t expecting it to be this punchy! On security, we’ve got all the options: in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock, plus the standard passcode and pattern options. Everything was smooth, no complaints here. This phone’s got a lot going on! And that’s just the beginning—stay tuned for even more on the Infinix HOT 50 Pro Plus experience.
