Really?
I will need to read up on this info. Street-naming is actually under the purview of LGA administration and that probably explains why your information is not well known.
Your are right on that ☝️, and yes it was done by Ajeromi Ifelodun LGA and not Lagos state government. You can take a second look at the pix and not mind the OP's sensational heading.

I said it. They never think before acting. You want Yorubas to dictate the affairs of all that matters in Yorubaland but won't want others to dictate what matters in their own land.

Yorubacracy in action! But I didn't expect mumurity to join sha!

Igbos really provoke Yoruba this past few years with the taunting and mocking about Lagos being a no man's land and them being the developers of Lagos

Yorubas are usually very very accomodating until you take their niceness for stupidity, then they can be very detailed creative and extreme in their reaction.

E be like sey dem don do covenant to stamp out all Igbo advantages out of the west at all levels.

I am sure that the mindset is that, they will stop accepting what Igbos will never permit in their eastern states and cities.

Last last all na vanity....everything begins and ends here on earth.

NB. I be Yoruba man so i know how we think. "Oju orun to eiye fo" should never be taken for granted or it will eventually turn to " Ila kii ga ju oni ire lo".

The enforcement has begun from the highest levers of power.

it is only a fool that will believe what yorubas are doing to Igbo won't get to them. I was in lagos last year, I unable to vote because I m a fair man. Yorubas are in my village uptill now, do u expect me take such treatments likely. Those making noise about lagos are not even from lagos

Not only the Igbos but the northeners too because the northerners are the major occupants of Agege. I want to ask again, how is Lagos a yoruba land ?
It is Biafra land! You remember the last IGR and tax collected in Lagos was carried to alaigbo to share with anambra, imo and Abia to lift south east out of the bottom level that ipob put them into.

Dem no know Yoruba people at all and their ability and capability for " wahala pro max"

Let them go read about "Operation Wetie" of 1965. it got so bad that the killing, arson and destruction of property among Yorubas lead to a military coup.

Then let them read about the violent aftermath of Ondo state Gubernatorial elections of 1983. Adekunle Ajasin and Akin Omoboriowo.

Then read about the Ife-Modakeke war over location of council headquarters in 1997-1998 then they will know Yorubas can be creatively cruel when pushed to the wall. The war claimed up to 5,000 lives in one year.

If they could be that savage towards each other fighting over power and land...then strangers should be careful.

Na person wey never see fight na him dey call himself man.

If your hands don fight war, you go prefer peace. That is the yoruba mindset that igbos take for granted.

Anybody can do what they like in their state. Anambra state government change the name of a popular street in Anambra and heaven didn't fall. Abia state sacked Igbos from Anambra, Imo, Ebonyi and Enugu state from their civil service and heaven didn't fall

And the last thing we will take in Abia is a single Yoruba name there... it's abomination to us.
