Well, things do cost money to make and supply.
If you read the whole story you will get the gist that those on Estimated billings are the ones requesting for this, My house has a prepaid metre so i don't need to disconnect just don't use PHCN, I'm on solar power instead. No fixed Billi use whatever I get. Now there is not enough Power to supply people for 24 hours, so these Disco who are thieves, will suplly120 hrs of power in a month and charge you for 720 hours of consumption. What do you call that? The way to go is for everyone to acquire a prepaid meter see if these Discos don't sit up and invest into the transmission of electricity.

In countries do ppl attack Nepa staff when they want to disconnect power thieves?
You dent want to pay but you want to consume. Idiocy
I those countries you are thinking of, there are prepaid meters, you only pay for what you buy like MTN, so nothing like disconnection, you don't buy power you don't get power simple, wont life be sweet if that's the way we do it in Nigeria?

You're struggling to sound reasonable yet you keep sounding like someone with an IQ of minus 10.
you don't sound like you have a brain

So you're blaming the people for the increment in electricity that's not even stable?
is it non living things I will blame or animals with free will?

You also blame them for the hike in food stuffs when the government you spend your life defending cannot protect farmers from bandits.
you're stupid if you expect another human that is not your loved one to protect you for free?
Then you have the issue of the border which was closed. And when it became obvious that local production wasn't enough for the population they refused to open it.
who voted for the govt? They are simply doing your bidding

You also blame the people for the increasing insecurity across the country. From the east to the west to the north.
is it spirits doing the insecurity?
Cowards need not apply and need to be quiet but free MB give una mouth to talk nonsense
Despite the billions allocated to the ministry of defense, Nowhere is safe. Innocent Nigerians are being kidnapped and killed on a daily basis.
so for your mind all you have to do is allocate billions. Now it hasn't worked, WTF are you going to do about it. Nothing so keep shut as you were

You also blame the people for the hike in fuel prices. When your president removed fuel subsidy without proper plans in place to cushion the aftermath of the removal.
when you feeding fat on cheap fuel you foolishly didn't do anything productive with it, you thought it will last forever. How dumb can you be

You also blame the people for the exuberant custom duty on imported cars, electronics... Etc. Thus making it almost impossible for the common man to afford.
I already answered this
If you can't read I can't help you

You also blame the people for the mass exit of foreign companies, thereby plunging thousands into unemployment.
you a child or an adult waiting to be spoon fed by foreign companies. So without foreign companies you cannot make it ba? Now I see the problem

You also blame struggling families who can't feed themselves for critizing a government that gives them nothing aside taxing them to their deaths.
I don't think you know how government works

Even the buhari we all criticized, things wasn't like this during his administration.

That's what you said about IBB
that's what you said About abacha
that's what you said about Jonathan
that's what you always say [/quote] [b]

I don't blame you tho. Like I said. The average Tinubu's supporter shares the same size of brain with that of a hummingbird.
yes with your big brain you can't solve any single problem without foreign company

More like no meter; free power! That would force the DISCOs to send meters across board. Fashola actually put out such law when he was minister for power but nigerians don't read the news nor know their rights.

Estimated billing has been made illegal since the past administration. We're a people that're used to being oppressed and begging same oppressors for a break. If nepa go areas where there are no meters and want to cut light; rather than band together and ask for prepaid meters, they start beggin the same NEPA that's in the wrong.
Well done at least here is someone with a Brain. Let PHCN take their wire away, infarct ask them to close your account, you can do this by writing a letter and taking it to their local office, get it signed and no more bills, take a prepaid meter instead,

If you weren't a dummy like I earlier stated, you would know that this is about paying for what you don't use. It's about NEPA's refusal to distribute meters.
did you bother to find out why they don't distribute meters or you think it just fell from heaven.assumption Idiot

You still haven't understood the direction this is going. Soon, DISCO will begin refusing to buy enough electricity from GENCO because they're losing some customers while the rest are not using much electricity per day (like my household grin grin) and GENCO too will start complaining. And before you know it, power sector will have huge problem of inability to sell their generated electricity simply because there are not enough consumers anymore
Great, they will now go back to the drawing board and invest their money like Glo and MTN did. Thank God government do not own them anymore its private investors, if these lot leave the industry ,people who are serious will take over. We all have to stick to prepaid or no billing.
