While you are at it , you should include the American Envangelical Church that is the unofficial state religion of the United States.

American Envangelical churches are all state control as there is an existing federal legislation that requires all American churches to follow a Zionist doctrine. Those who don't imbibe the Zionist doctrine are illegible for tax exemption and federal grants.

Do you also know that there is such a thing as a Church Bank in the US that offers zero interests from public funds to setup a church ?

There's no separation of church and state in the US as widely claimed.

Prior to 1954, there was no such thing as a 501(c)(3) church. All donations, contributions, gifts, etc. given to churches were automatically tax‑deductible under the old English common law, known as the "Law of Charities." Then in 1954, Senator Lyndon Baines Johnson (D‑Texas) sponsored legislation which brought churches under the new 501(c)(3) section of the Internal Revenue code.

As a part of this legislation, churches would incorporate, and having that status, they could not be sued in a legal action. This was promoted as a "benefit" to the churches. The churches never bothered to look to the Scriptures and previous law to find out that churches could not be sued. They relied instead on advice from lawyers and the "legal profession" who recommended acceptance of this new "benefit." And why not? Anything involving more "legality" does nothing more than advance the status, importance, need, and employment of this questionable profession. It is a fact, that today most all of the "churches" who have been sued in a court action have been "incorporated churches."

Instead of being a minister of God, serving the Almighty, these preachers have betrayed our Savior and the entire Christian theology, to become instead ministers of the government.

There have been several instances where the US government had stripped the tax‑exempt status from churches and demanded back taxes for violation of this covenant. And those pastors who "claim" that they can go into their pulpits and say anything contrary to the laid down Puritan dictated Zionist doctrine.

It's only in America that the concept of alligning light with darkness first arose with the paradoxical Judeo-Christian so-called values.

The 1954 federal Legislation
501(c)(3) is why America is now so blinded by Zionism.

In reality , the separation of church from State only exists to halt the spread of Christian ideals and values to be spread and taught outside the State sanctioned churches of Zionism.

And this same 501(c)(3) is being exported to the rest of the world especially in third world countries like Nigeria.

Have you wondered how some of Nigeria's controversial preachers suddenly arose from near obscurity to instant fame and wealth? They are being propped up by the same Zionists in the US to spread Zionism across churches in third world countries.

What he said is rhat the current practice of spending days and nights in church is not a productive venture. It breeds poverty and we know it.

He never said Churches should not exist and your title implies

Strictly dealing with the message and disregarding the messenger, who I despise, I agree with Obi.

If Nigerians Pastors are decent and progressive human being, rather than tithe and private jet-loving con artists, they would be encouraging Nigerians to look inwards in trying to solve their problems rather than cajoling them to believe they must always seek divine intervention and be in church always.

Of course they will never deliver such messages because promising their prayers will deliver miracles for Nigerians is very profitable.

Meanwhile Nations not even 5% as religious as Nigeria have left us far behind because they view religion correctly as the establishment of a relationship between you and your God. They therefore still primarily believe man has the capacity to solve his own problems. To that end, they keep working to provide human solutions for human problems as much as possible.

Different to Nigerians who view religion the solution to every problem an individual has and would therefore seek a Pastor's 'miraculous' intervention ten times out of ten over their challenges.

One thing Nigerians should bear in mind, regarding Christianity in our nation, is the way covid 19 exposed our version of Christian worship as fake.

Churches worldwide were looking for ways to be charitable and supportive of their flock during lockdown.

Nigerian pastors were encouraging their flock to pay tithe via bank transfer since they could not attend church to do so physically.

There is no dead body in south east, stop spreading false information about south east, the same way you yorubas are spreading false information about peter obi your missed political messiah.

South East is safer than your south west plague by Fulani herdsmen, ritual killings, human organs harvesting, robbery, kidnapping, skull mining and so many other evils.

Why Have you not ask yourself why there is burial almost everyday in yoruba south west Nigeria and cases of missing yorubas on daily basis?
