Ok
Re: Builders In The House, What Could The Cause Of This? [photos] by troubleshooter: 11:15am On Nov 04
a lot of reasons
1. The building has aged badly
2. poor building materials and methods of construction
3. the most likely i can deduce from these pictures is that te foundation at that spot has eroded badly. check for any closeby septic tank or chamber or broken water supply pipes. Poor maintenance of chambers can allow water to leach into the foundation and and erode it.
4. If (3) above is not the case, pls pack out immediately. the building is too old and isnt capable of carrying the weight of the roof.

Most times, bricklayers are the culprits. My nephew massively shortchanged me when we were doing foundation to the extent that I had to take the work from him and give it to outsider.

Exactly or could be plastered mud house
Re: Builders In The House, What Could The Cause Of This? [photos] by Mtmike(m): 11:17am On Nov 04
this could be caused by settlement in foundation, something somewhere under ur foundation could have caused the foundation to settle, it could be decayed tree root, water pass tru the foundation, termites etc. something else could also have caused it, so get an experienced engineer or builder to help check thoroughly

The corner of my room started cracking little by little some 3 or 4 years ago.. now it has gotten to this level. You can hear what the person at the other end is saying sometimes. It's so scary.

Every 30 minutes, I do hear sound of small sand particles falling off. Guys how can this be fixed and how much would it cost?

The block used has no much cement.

The block contains more sand than cement.

In my opinion, move out from the building.

The foundation of that building is not strong.

The building might collapse some day. The house needs to be demolished.

Can you drop address so I can notify authorities to come with bulldozers and demolish that building

Your prompt response will be appreciated

This are majorly caused if were the house is built has log or big roots under the foundation, when the roots or log eventually gets rotten this is what you will notice.

Re: Builders In The House, What Could The Cause Of This? [photos] by Tmex(m): 11:28am On Nov 04
Could be due to many factors
(1)Low quality blocks.
(2)The bricklayer did not lock the blocks at angles.
(3)) The foundation footing (blinding) was poorly done.

When you see this crack on a building... Two things involve.....
1-the plot is full with gold. Means you build on top of plenty gold....
2- you blocked road for jin/spirit or ghost......

Wait, are you serious about this?
Re: Builders In The House, What Could The Cause Of This? [photos] by Onewazobia(m): 11:30am On Nov 04
Possible reasons
1) Poor Mixing Ratio
2) Poor foundational work
3) Bad blocks arrangements (alignment)
4) Settlement issues etc

Mediation; make a good opening on the portion, reinforce with M12 steel rods, casting
