Oil Regulator(NMPDRA) Lacks Laboratory To Detect Substandard Fuel - Dangote by NOETHNICITY(m): 11:37am On Nov 04, 2024
This morning, I read with consternation Dangote’s rebuttal to allegations of product overpricing at his refinery.

What caught my attention essentially was the allegation that Nigeria's regulatory agency NMPDRA has no laboratory to investigate or detect substandard products when imported.

In his exact words, he said,

“Unfortunately, the regulator (NMDPRA) does not even have laboratory facilities which can be used to detect substandard products when imported into the country’.

The audacity with which Dangote made such a sensitive allegation at the risk of being debunked with verifiable facts and accused of being a purveyor of falsehoods is, to say the least, quite alarming.

Could this allegation really be true?
Why aren’t we ever asking the right questions in Nigeria?
Why isn’t anyone angry about this given the trillions of Naira NNPCL has invested in its infrastructure to ensure proper running of its activities?

In my candid opinion, if this allegation is proven to be true heads should roll and people should get sacked.
The NNPCL is fast becoming a cog in the wheel of national progress by being a cesspool of unimaginable corruption.

Is this really coming from a Nigerian?

You want someone to be angry about a jungle?

It seems you haven't fully understood where you live in.
