A none governmental organization, the Emmanuel Olueatobi Foundation, last week distributed food and other essential items to the Abuja Children's Home in Karu, FCT to mark its inauguration.


During the presentation ceremony at the Abuja Children's Home, founder of the foundation, Emmanuel Oluwatobi, shared the inspiration behind his philanthropic endeavour.


He said, from a young age, he had envisioned making a difference in the lives of those struggling, having experienced hardship firsthand, he understood the value of compassion and support.


"Today, I am honoured to turn that childhood dream into reality through the Emmanuel Oluwatobi Foundation. I reflected on my personal journey while growing up with humble beginnings, I knew the struggles of those in need. This foundation is the realization of a lifelong vision to give back and make a meaningful impact in the society and there is no better time do that than now.

"So, whatever we are doing today was driven by a profound sense of empathy, guided by personal values, and deeply committed to social responsibility. I firmly believe that every individual, especially children, regardless of circumstance, deserves access to basic necessities and opportunities for growth and development", he said.


Mr. Oluwatobi further explained that he was equally inspired by his faith in God and gratitude for His blessings, stressing that he was honoured to support the Abuja Children's Home in Karu, FCT, an institution dedicated to providing refuge and care to vulnerable children. He has pledged to continue supporting vulnerable members of the society through initiative and donations.


The donation, which includes, golden penny noodles, Honeywell macaroni and spaghetti, packs of wellcome snacks, packs of cheese balls, packs of viju milk, packs of tissues paper, cartons of small pureblor, cartons of goodtime biscuits, happy hour and a few others, aims to support vulnerable children and provide them with basic necessities during the festive season.


According to Mr. Oluwatobi, "this act of kindness aligns with the foundation's mission to make a positive difference in the community. This donation is a testament to the foundation's mission to helping hands, uplift and empower marginalized communities, recognizing that every act of kindness counts and has the potential to transform lives.

"I hope our contribution will bring joy, hope, and tangible support to those who need it most, enabling them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.


"Through this gesture, we reaffirm our dedication to creating a more compassionate and equitable society, where everyone has the chance to thrive".
