No Spine man, the video footage didn't show u were wrong. Stand ur ground as a man. Begging for forgiveness has rune ur dignity. That u are a leader doesn't make u a higher than ur followers.

We don’t know what he has been through . Plus I don’t think he got a lawyer. He had the whole nation and people in diaspora behind then this ?

This Uber guy no know himself, at all!

Apologize for what?

For receiving slaps?

This is the power of Mammon at play here.

The guy man don collect kpogri from Oga at the top to warrant this "mutual" apology.

It reminds one of Fela who sang "slap me make I get money"!

We truly deserve our so-called leaders!

Ahhhh, my brother, he has empowered lots of women and youths and renovated many schools in Aba North and South, amongst other things.

U will not even know he stays in Abuja. He's always around to oversee his many ongoing projects here in Aba.
That's no excuse to slap people randomly.

Bolt Driver Apologizes to Hon Alex Ikwechegh Over Provocation, Begs Nigerians for Forgiveness

By Wisdom Nwedene

A Bolt Driver, Stephen Abuwatseya has finally apologised to House of Representatives member representing ABA North/South of Abia State in the National Assembly, Hon. Alex Ikwechegh for insulting him when he went to deliver a package to him.

In a video personally released to the press, Mr Abuwatseya begged Nigerians to forgive him and equally move forward.

According to him, "Good day, Nigerians. My name is Stephen Abuwatseya. I had a misunderstanding with Rt. Hon. Alex Mascot Ikwechegh a few days ago. I actually want to apologize to him for whatever I must have said or done to provoke him to that level of anger. I want to tell Nigerians that it’s not time for us to start dividing ourselves based on religion, tribes, or regions. We should actually come together, see how we can unite this nation and move it forward."

Abuwatseya continued, calling for unity and forgiveness. “Please, Nigerians, let’s forgive and forget, as it’s even contained in our Lord’s Prayer, that ‘Lord, please forgive us, as we forgive those who trespass against us.' For there is no justice without forgiveness. Thank you very much."

In his heartfelt message, the driver also took time to thank his family and well-wishers for their support. "I want to use this medium to thank my family members, my parents, my brothers, my uncles, and everybody that stood by me. I want to appreciate all of you. I love you all. Thank you. God bless Nigeria."

This apology comes just days after Ikwechegh himself issued a public statement, acknowledging his actions and expressing regret over his behavior during the altercation. In a message posted on his Instagram account, the lawmaker apologized to the Uber driver, the Nigerian Police Force, and the National Assembly, asserting that his actions fell short of the standards expected from a public officeholder regardless of how intense the Provocation must have been.

Ikwechegh explained that he had engaged in alternative dispute resolution with Abuwatseya, which led to a "mutual and respectful agreement" between the two parties.

You should be without job by now. Customer is always right, if he had gun you down, will you be alive to make this video

1. When dealing with impossible customers, avoid provoking them,

2. Walk away and report the situation to your manager if it's getting violent. Only the living can work

This guy is a fuul for making this video. You have already passed your message ab initio. What should we call this? He is weak, and he is nothing but an asslicker. It really shows he can be bought with shikini money. Now, it all dawn on me that his recent outburst is just to achieve a purpose.

Poverty of the mind.

The profuse apology by this young guy in the video is highly unwarranted.

He should have simply said he has forgiven that highly dishonorable guy in the house of representatives and collect at least NGN 5 million of money as a final settlement or compensation for the verbal and physical assaults he got that night.

Alternative dispute resolutions are good though because they minimize the long time it takes to get justice in the regular courts.
