As for the South South, while I am.not an expert in dams, many areas of the Niger delta are too flat for a dam. And do they need dams. If yes, then river basin authorities the South South (every region has a river basin authority) should make the business case and submit to the relevant ministry.

You can't beef the South West on this.

Contact your region's River Basin Authority and ask them why they are not proposing dams for your region.

That's is Ogun-Osun River Basin MD...we have other River Basins in Nigeria..

Benin-Owena, Niger-Delta, Sokoto-Rima, Cross Rivers, Anambra -Imo, Upper and Down Benue, Chad Basin ..etc...

What are the MDs of these River Basins doing That's the question...they are the ones to manage these Rivers and provide adequate Dams...not only to control floods , but to provide irrigation facilities for farming.
