kaludestiny10: Dangote should reduce his price. How can the imported be cheaper than locally produced? I had thought Nigeria wouldn't need to import fuel but with the price Dangote is selling now, I think I'll support importation to stop Dangote from exploiting Nigerians. 3 Likes 1 Share |

richmond500: 1. They're laying to you, it's the Subsidy cabal fighting back to protect their scams and FX transfers out of Nigeria. 2. Was fuel cheaper before Dangote entered the market? 4. Where is the sense and wisdom in draining our meager FX to import what you have? Who are you doing,? You are doing yourself? Keep letting fuel cabal drain your FX into their pockets , it won't stop foreign comps from buying every drop of Dangote products. It's your loss. 1 Like |

yommen: You people shouting monopoly up and down have you analyzed the opportunity cost of sending needed forex to foreign countries? Is it better to keep throwing that money away or put it in a local company that employs Nigerians and feeds families here and can also be listed on the stock exchange? Can't you organize your village people to setup another refinery if your biggest problem at the moment is competition ? Nigerians are hungry but throwing away forex for you to avoid competition is your biggest priority. Someone make this argument make sense to me 2 Likes |

richmond500:You need to understand that other countries currency has more value than ours so when they exchange it, it's quite cheap for them. 2. Imagine Coca-Cola selling their products in the UK at maybe £2 then the same Coca-Cola will come to Nigeria, produce the drink locally in Nigeria and then sell it at the same £2. Is that not madness? Well that's what Dangote is doing. Locally made product selling at high price like as of you are importing them. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Re: South Africa, Seven Countries Queue To Lift Dangote Refinery Fuel by Fortune109: 7:51pm On Nov 09 |
Good! Also there is no reason why government shouldn't sell crude to him in excess and very cheap to cover refine costs...So that he sells cheap to the Nigerian Market...Then government tightens the borders to stop smuggling... If Politicians won't just be wicked...this is quite a simple way to make citizens happy...This thing is supposed to be a blessing to us...we shouldn't suffer to have it... God bless Nigera! |

What I hate about this present govt is that the leaders are shameless, wicked and lack sympathy at all. As a govt build refineries to make P.M.S cheaper, the said no, oya fix the existing ones immediately, no the didn't, okay dangote said ,let me build refinery in my country to help my country , the wicked rulers said no, we rather import than buy from our citizen in our country. Then somebody in his right sense will depend this government, that the govt is working tirelessly to improve the leaving condition of its citizens. As a reborn Nigerian forget about Nigeria and hustle like there is no tomorrow. |
