The same man you claimed sabi politics, Atiku have been disgracing him in any election in PDP. Wike sponsored Tambuwal in 2019 for PDP presidential ticket and even took the convention to Portharcout but Atiku still dust his candidate hands down.
Come 2022 PDP presidential primary, he contested along Atiku and other contestants and Atiku showed his political wit by dusting him and not only that, instead of choosing him as his vice, he ridiculed him and told him he is not presidential to be chosen a vice president candidate. That word hit him hard and till date he is yet to recover from it.
Atiku is not the gragra type, he does his politics slow and steady and doesn't make noise while Wike go from pillar to post making noise and making mess of himself. To even show how strong Atiku is to Wike, Atiku always allow Wike to have control of who to become the PDP chairman with no interference but when the real politicking comes Atiku always hedge him and by 2026 when the PDP presidential primary come calling, Atiku will still show him the stuff he is made of.

Which of the Wike are you talking about? Hope it is not the same Wike of Rivers state? Wike is only having 4 PDP state governors with him while the remaining 9 are against him (now 8 against him, as Edo state is out of the equation).
Let Wike even try and win presidential first, so that we will see how the people of Nigeria love him. Wike is just a noise maker. I am sure many of you that are backing him today won't even vote him, when jungle matured.

"The move to remove Damagum has split the PDP governors, with the Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum and Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, leading six other governors pushing for Damagum’s ouster.

I told you your problem is comprehension. You post things without understanding. I clearly told you now that the only governor loyal to Atiku is Adeleke,I didn't tell you the rest are pro wike. The punch where clever to group the governors in to pro wike and anti wike. They never said pro Atiku. You clearly mistook those opposing wike to be pro Atiku. Hell no sir. I believe you know Bala is not with wike, he is for himself. Same as Diri who cut a deal with APC to get a soft landing for his reelection. Gov Umo Eno is frolicking with Akpabio and the APC in his state. Fubara is on his way out of pdp. You already know he is for himself and not for Atiku. These group of governors want power for themselves and not for anybody, they just want governors to control pdp and not any godfather. Wike is indirectly fine by this. Anything but Atiku. For fintiri to be opposing Atiku, it says a lot na. No need to argue this one

If some governors are against Wike and they are able to get him out of the equation, have they not helped the course of Atiku? But you're expecting to see where Punchng put pro-Atiku and pro-Wike. Please can you tell me any governor against Wike that have stood up and castigate Atiku? This is just common sense. It was the same way he thought he has arrived and he has captured the whole party organs in 2019 and 2023 but at last a front looking Atiku was just looking at him and in both instances he gave him uppercuts and hit him at the jaw, even after Wike orchestrated the removal of Secondus when he discovered he was not doing his bidding as Damagum is doing now.

Besides, why you people like making up issues? Diri cut a deal with APC to get his reelection and you think Sylva that resigned from a lucrative post will cut such deal, when it is a well known fact that he has been looking for ways to complete his second tenure as the constitution permit him since Jonathan's regime. You equally say, Eno is frolicking with Akpabio to get reelection too or bla bla. Where did you get that from? Just because they gave him his local government to control, even after the election was won by PDP, as he went begging and calling the governor to save him his position, after he might have boasted of having control of the state.
Note this, except the governor defect to APC, that is the only time APC can have inroad to win governorship election in Akwa Ibom. Please stop making up issue. We know states that PDP is just like a religion to them and Akpabio know that, same way there are states that APC is just like religion to them. It will take alignment and realignment for other party to win such state.
Now, look at it this way, you claimed Punchng didn't say pro-Atiku but you went saying Fintiri is against Atiku. With your assertion, how did you know Fintiri is against Atiku? My brother, if shove comes to push, everybody will hold on to his mother's breast. Just the same way SIM is against Wike but when party presidential primary comes, PDP Rivers, many will still prefer to support him. That's just the bitter truth.

The punch clearly said Fintiri is anti atiku. Even Fintiri recently supported Damagum retention. APC is not aiming to win aks. The gov and Akpabio have been frolicking together right from his swearing in.
Wike as usual will prevent Atiku from getting the ticket and if he can't,he will frustrate him at the main polls. Atiku should rest and allow the younger ones. Him recontsting means blocking and wasting away the chances of the younger aspirants
