The Supreme Court on Friday, dismissed the suit of the 13 states challenging the constitutionality of the law that established the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

The seven-man panel of justices led by Justice Uwani-Abba-Aji, in a unanimous decision, dismissed the suit for lacking in merit.

Very good! Only in Nigeria that the anti corruption agency goes after crooked men and those men retaliate by challenging the constitutionality of the anti corruption agency in court 😂

Nigeria, a nation of absurdities!!! 🤦🏾‍♂️

At a point where EFCC ought to be empowered to be more neutral and capable of prosecuting suspects quickly with evidence, some useless corrupt governors decided to ridicule themselves by taking EFCC to supreme court to challenge their constitutionality.

All governors and deputy governors of states in Nigeria should be removed. Ministers should be appointed in their place and they should be stackable for non performance.
