Vice President Kashim Shettima, Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, many current and former governors, senior government officials and other politicians are in Kano for the wedding of the daughter of former Kano State governor, deputy speaker of the House of Representatives and minister of defence, Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and the son of famous businessman Alhaji Dahiru Mangal.

The wedding between Dr Aisha Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and Engineer Fahad Dahiru Mangal is currently taking place at the Emir of Kano's palace.
