Please I need some clarification on an issue.I am preparing to apply for Tier 4 visa,the uni did not assess my English language ability based on any standardised test score.I was going through the UKBA website this morning and I noticed that some changes have been made to English language requirements for Tier 4 applicants effective from 1st July 2013.WAEC is not on the list of requirements.
I will like to know if this implies that I have to submit TOEFL or IELTS scores as part of my visa application though the institution assessed me using their parameter.Thanks

Then you got nothing to worry about, if in doubt contact your uni for assurance.

Goodday justwise, i need ur candid opinion on one issue. i have lodge my dependant maintenance money in my acct 4 19 days 2day & i wanted 2 withdraw 4rm my current acct which is tied on d same ATM card with d saving i av d maintenance, mistakenly d withdraw was done on d one with maintenance money but i return d money back in less than 30mins
Can i still use d money in d acct after 28days or i will start afresh?
Is there any implication if i did nt make my dependent visa along with my own since am on scholarship

masperano: At just wise I attached only one passport photograph to my vfs form dat I submitted!some said dey attached 2 o!

I submitted one too...I believe that shouldn't be a problem. There was space for only 1 on the form.

You don't need to start afresh, keep counting the 28days

Thanks, actually am thinking maybe i should apply 4 my own visa now & theirs later after the 28 days cos am running out of time.

To save yourself the headache, let her pay the money into your account, the legal guardian thing will not work, if she really want to sponsor you then get the money paid into your account.

holladapooo: Kudos to justwise & every1 doing a great job here. Don't know if u guys still remember me. Its been almost year from the last time I applied for uk student visa but was refused on the grounds that WAEC didn't respond when they tried to verify my result. Anyways after differing for a year am ready to reapply. I ve d required money for 28 days (am using my acct dis time & d money ll be there till I travel cos its meant for my upkeep over there),Degree cert & transcript, in addition aside from my WAEC cert I ll be submitting WAEC print out, scratch card and sealed confirmation of result addressed to ukba(this is too avoid been refused on the same ground as last year). Also I ve paid full tution.
What am not clear about is the newly introduced interview. Can anyone shed more light on this?
Also suggestions, advice or opinions re welcomed. Don't want to make any mistake.

4) What next after the degree

6) What have you been doing after graduation.

Using fixed deposit account will be an issue because the money in that account is fixed for a certain period, so technically its not available to you

Though i have abt 3m in my own acct. I just want to use that as the balance for my tuition. Its maturing in september. Im running out of time. What do u advise i do?

If you don't have the required amount in your account or in your daddy's current/savings account then there is nothing you can do

You just have to wait for further communication from them, at least it shows they are processing your application

Hello people, I want to find out from those who recently received their Tier 4 visas how long it took. Today is the 15th working day after I applied. I guess it is too early to fret, right? (I applied at Lekki, Lagos)
