Well done Gov Muhammed Bago of Niger state. Very proactive governor. Despite the fact that it is a federal project but because it was in his state he decided to follow up on behalf of the people of Niger state. I think his collabo with decisive Engr Umahi will yield seriousness on the part of the contractors and speedy completion of project. No hiding place for dubious contractors. I believe if every state Governor should follow up with contractors more will be achieved. A good example is Minister Wike, no contractor sleep until project is delivered. 12 Likes 1 Share |

This is just another way to siphon funds. When questioned about the mismanagement of money, he could simply claim that part of the funds was given to the previous contractor before their contract was terminated. 1 Like |

They should terminate it. A certain former Head of State who's company was alleged to have been awarded most of these contracts just collects money and do nothing. 7 Likes |

These contractors know what they are doing, get part payment, delay project, then it's terminated and they won't account for the money. Umahi better start leaving that your office and be on ground to monitor these projects or else it will be same story of termination. As minister of works you are always supposed to be on project sites,. No wonder Wike follows dem bumper ti bumper 1 Like 1 Share |
