Honestly baba, the world is becoming hostile to immigrants.

And the more right wings gain popularity the higher the trend will be. Those guys done dey take over europe small small

They're not making enough babies to support their own economy. The moment they realise a significant drop in workforce, no one will tell them before they will start reversing their immigration policies. It is not a new development, it is like a cycle

Do the research yourself. Have your priorities and start from there. Nairaland is a good place to start.
Go to Google, type “travel to xyz nairaland”….good luck.
What worked for Tinubu may end up not working for Atiku!

Lol. Taraba!
What opportunities, innovations, new ideas and up-to-date events or revolutions are in taraba?
Gerrard59:

Sorry, but I don't see why you should be bothered about the economy of a country if you are targeting digital nomad visas. It does not follow as those visas are meant for persons who have jobs outside the economy of the host nation. As for security, Barbados and the Bahamas are pretty okay by international standards. Oh yes! You would have to return to Nigeria if you decide to go through DN visas as they don't lead to permanent residency or naturalisation. Lastly, 15 million naira is too inadequate to relocate these days except via a standard work visa which the employing organisation should organise or assist you with. For instance, the Barbados DN visa program requires the applicant to earn at least $50K per annum as a digital nomad. We would have some people talk about how they spent less to relocate, but to which country and on what visa? Those are the questions you should ask anyone who believes 15 million is adequate to relocate these days.

My advice? If where you are in Nigeria is becoming unbearable for you, move to another state in another region. That is the saving grace Nigeria has compared to many other African countries. Your 15 million would go a long way in Taraba as opposed to Lagos, but you are still in Nigeria.

So you are just finding where to relax for a moment and rest for a little while. I thought you are migrating permanently!
Is like, you still love Nigeria!

This is great... thanks man. I saw the 50k per annum stuff too. This is just so perfect but I really want to change environment for a while not that I'm not okay with the state I am presently. As in, just for few months or up to a year and then come back and that's why I even said I won't mind any good African country. Like you rightly said, economy of the country shouldn't be my headache but a country with good security is just fine. Thanks for your time, Bro. I appreciate

That's before, I live in Milan Italy with a permanent residence which I got September this here. The current left wing party who's currently in power are coming up daily with anti immigration laws. I came in 2019 via the study route. Things where easier then including exchange rate differentials( Euro to naira).

We rise by lifting others

This is a very wrong time to relocate. Most countries are becoming very anti immigration now.

Make una rest. People still dey enter those countries. Immigration can't be stopped. Even as Trump make mouth reach, many people still enter the US in his first tenure.

Immigration restrictions are increasing daily...!

I think the world is fed up with the influx of Africans, Asians and Middle Easterners.

For a freelancer earning in foreign currencies, staying in Nigeria makes far more sense...!

This is due to the exchange rate... All you need to do is take your time to find a safe and secure region and location with good services.

Trust me... Working remotely for foreign organizations while living in Naija is the biggest flex ever!

Bulaba and Tpain economy will just keep bouncing off your foreign income. cool
