Sonnobax15:When we support Nnamdi Kanu in calling this country a zoo and then agitate to leave the Union, some people think that we are the problem. In 2015, on my way from Uniport after graduation, I was stopped on the way to Bayelsa, my home state by the police at a check point. I chattered a taxi to carry my load and myself. The police went through my belongings and asked me to produce the receipt of my stuff, which I did. Then the police accused me of having in possesion of stolen goods–just because one of the receipts shows that the company retailers deals in pharmaceutical drugs and home appliances. That was how they accused me of stealing my television from a pharmacy store. I told them that I duly brought the tv, and that the receipt shows that the same people deal in pharmaceutical drugs. But police no wan hear. That was how I was handcuffed like a criminal and take to the station. Even when I told them that the dealer shop I got the tv was not far from where they are and that we can just go there and confirm it, they refused. They made me sleep in the cell and threatened to jail me if I didn't accept that I stole it. It took the action of my elder sisters to go to the store and confirmed it, and yet involve a superior to speak with them to release me. Yet, I paid #15,000 as bail. It was after when I was release that one of the police men told me that they know I was innocent, but they saw that I was too weak so they saw and avenue to get something out of me. He then told me to be bold and hold my ground next time, if not I will fall as prey well well. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Police dismissed her because she demanded money as a blackmail from the officer that raped the girl and when that failed, rather than report to appropriate authority within the police force to sanction the officer involved, she released the video of the rape incident in the social media. No organization will tolerate staff members reporting each other in the social media to cause embarrassment to the organization. Thanks for job well done in exposing rape, but because you were not smart enough in handling your discovery, you are sacked like the rapist. 1 Like |

illicit: And so, it should continue, because we don't want anything to taint the image of any Nigerian institution under our ''beloved'' kisnman's administration? Why don't we judge cases by their own merits?? This woman has a case that should concern any average Nigerian who wants Nigeria's best interest at heart; there should be no reason whatsoever to dismiss it. |
