Gary Neville has confirmed it. . . .Ashley Young didn't dive, Bosingwa's leg caught him and tripped him forward. |

diggz:Another muppet who needs to beg to have his brain back after trading it to the stem cell research center for a plate of porridge. The first is lalaboi. None has answered how Chelsea beat QPR. Dull hypocrites. For every nateevs (smart and logical) on this thread, you have two-a-penny marabouts like lalaboi and diggs ( intrinsic nincompoops/free reader -garage analysts). It's everywhere. My point still remains:if chelsea haven't benefited from refereeing decisions, I'll listen o you.Otherwise STFU and change your tampoons. |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by afrodoc(m): 12:18am On Feb 07, 2012 |
diggz u bonehead, since when did players get red cards for diving(assuming it was a dive). well if u tink we r criminals at least we can be reformed but u on d other hand r a dimwitted slowpoke, there is no redemption for you! now starboard said u xchanged ur brain for porridge,i dont tink so, u couldnt hav bin born wit a brain in d 1st instance(dats anencephaly, check it up). so please carry ur tympanitic skull comot from here, u freak of nature! @lalaboi wetin b confused.com na? now dt u hav bin challenged on ur position u r withdrawin into ur shell? our earlier posts were without insults lets keep it dt way.starboard n others hav made d valid point dt chelsea n other clubs hv benefited from refereeing decisions in d recent past and even had some favorable calls earlier in dis particular match.real football fans here should not let emotions n anger becloud their analysis n debates, instead of going apoplectic n throwin tantrums abt d referee, try n b objective |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by lalaboi(m): 12:23am On Feb 07, 2012 |
StarBoard: Stop being a slowpoke! Everyone knows every team benefit from ref blunders! That doesn't mean they shouldn't complain if it goes against them!. You're beginning to stink in here! CEX should start trading in brain parts walahi! Yours is pointless in that skull. |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by afrodoc(m): 12:38am On Feb 07, 2012 |
but d issue is i rarely see other fans complain like u guys, like u guys r bin targeted or somtin.afta rio's tackle on ben arfa united fans here did not spend 2 days vilifying d ref.d smart cookies amongst u guys will realize dt focusing on ref decisions will only direct attention away from where u should b analysing i.e d SHORTCOMINGS of d team n its manager. d same way United fans should not b celebrating too much abt d result cos it just papered over d cracks d showed up in d united defence.like i said earlier both teams can take some positives as well as negatives from d match,dt should b d focus rather than lookin for d easy way out n blaming d ref |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by Nobody: 2:33am On Feb 07, 2012 |
Anyways, complaining is like medicine after death. . . Let's count our loses and move on. Finishing in 4th spot will be considered a blessing. Now i understand the saying "You don't know what you have till it's gone'. CA, we were hard on you. |

Hehehe. . .my bad, what do u expect at 2am? Howard Webb, Graham Poll. . .whatever. Bunch of failed English refs. And he is supposed to be the chief. Sauron has revealed himself. Tired of being a coogar already? |

* Andre Villas-Boas has been defensive about Fernando Torres' goal drought, pointing to his contribution elsewhere on the pitch, but we rather hope he was screaming at the Spaniard to get in the box when he stood impotent wide on the right in the fifth minute while Daniel Sturridge and Raul Meireles exchanged passes and presumably glances heavy with 'what the hell is Torres doing?' He's a striker and he's not scoring goals. You don't have to blessed with the expertise of Alan Shearer to realise that part of the problem is his reluctance to put himself into a position where he might miss. Or even score. Imagine that. * You might guess that all that was written before Chelsea's second goal for which Torres pinged in a perfect cross from the right wing. But the difference on this occasion was that Sturridge, Florent Malouda and Mata were all within ten yards of the goal waiting for the cross. Now that's the right time to drift out to the flank, |

Let forget about this Howard webb of a thing, the point is we conceded a cheap penalty. Fact every premier league team this season has had some favourable decision from the incompetent English refs. We shld focus our energy on the next game against Everton which we are likely to drop points again. |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by FBS: 11:05am On Feb 07, 2012 |
If we drop points against Everton then kiss UCL goodbye. |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by Nobody: 12:45pm On Feb 07, 2012 |
More like when we drop points against Everton. Somehow i have the feeling we will clinch 4th spot. It's unthinkable for us not to play in the CL. But then what of Arsenal? Also unthinkable they will not qualify for CL. |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by nateevs(m): 1:23pm On Feb 07, 2012 |
Although 3 points against Everton is very crucial, the game will not decide who finishes 4th. There are a ton of important games to go with the Spurs, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle playing one another or playing United or City. Yes we don't seem like we can buy a win now, I still believe we will finish somewhere in the top four. While it is very crucial we put some distance between us and our competitors for CL spots, all evidence points to April being the month that will finally decide the top four. |

He's a striker and he's not scoring goals. You don't have to blessed with the expertise of Alan Shearer to realise Is this not what i have been saying since? When a striker doesnt position himself how would he get service 60% of a strikers job is anticipation and positioning A dibia told me Sauron would also blame everyone except Torres for the goal drought |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by Ibime(m): 7:32pm On Feb 07, 2012 |
Howard Webb has been the best ref in the Prem for the last 7 years. If you dont know that, you're on a long thing. Maybe some peeps prefer Mike Riley. Howard Webb looks like the only ref who ever played footie to a decent level. He knows when to call a foul and when a player is just protecting the ball. If he made a mistake its cos he didnt see it properly from his angle. |

This has happened for days now. Why is Espn reporting it like it just happened? |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by Sauron1: 12:11am On Feb 08, 2012 |
Ibime: Don't mind Bluediva and her cohorts spewing applesauce. . . . Howard Webb is the best referee in Europe. I can understand why he didn't give Man Utd the decision when Welbeck was brought down. It was too early in the game and giving a decision there would have meant sending Gary Cahill off and it would have ruined the game as a spectacle. |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by Nobody: 3:19am On Feb 08, 2012 |
We have since accepted our fate. RA's recent visits to the training pitch is a warning to AVB. Let the rookie get his acts together and salvage the season. Simple. Our remaining fixtures and there are just very few winnable games. Everton v Chelsea Chelsea v Birmingham City Chelsea v Bolton Wanderers West Bromwich Albion v Chelsea Chelsea v Stoke City Manchester City v Chelsea Chelsea v Tottenham Hotspur Aston Villa v Chelsea Chelsea v Wigan Athletic Fulham v Chelsea Chelsea v Newcastle United Arsenal v Chelsea Chelsea v Queens Park Rangers Liverpool v Chelsea Chelsea v Blackburn Rovers |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by nateevs(m): 7:47am On Feb 08, 2012 |
All those games are winnable. Every single one of them. BlueDiva: Speculation. |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by Nobody: 9:32am On Feb 08, 2012 |
@Bluediva are u saying we will strugle in those games, if our novice manager step up his game we wont av any problem |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by FBS: 10:23am On Feb 08, 2012 |
Y'all got jokes. howard webb best ref? that same as.sward Webb abi another one? nna na wa oo Howard ko, Sule ni. Maybe refs generally shitty or maybe its just the EPL boys. walahi if MU win EPL this season then I will easily switch to the Jupiler league. |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by Nobody: 10:26am On Feb 08, 2012 |
nateevs: You are an optimist and i am a realist. Of course everything is mathematically possible including us winning the epl this season. Adetayo100: When will he step up? |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by debosky(m): 11:02am On Feb 08, 2012 |
nateevs: I'm sure Roberto Martinez would say the same about his next 10 fixtures too. |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by nateevs(m): 11:04am On Feb 08, 2012 |
BlueDiva: In truth, this is not optimism. All the games are winnable and they very well are. Very different from your position of insinuating that some of those games are 'not winnable'. That's not the position of a realist. A realist considers all factors involved. |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by FBS: 1:10pm On Feb 08, 2012 |
Certainly ALL the games are winnable but only time can tell. See you in May. |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by Nobody: 3:06pm On Feb 08, 2012 |
nateevs: Exactly. Considering our very poor form it will be unwise to say our remaining fixtures are winnable. We have to realize we have no potent attack, a shamble defence and a rookie manager. Therefore saying that our games against the top 5 are winnable is sheer optimism. A leap of faith. Only an optimist will say such a thing. Let's don't overflog the issue, i will remind you after our next 5 fixtures. |
