When I said it some weeks back that Nairaland is gone, some people called me names. Some even called me Igbo, Ipob and some others asked me to go form mine with my tribesmen.
This once respected forum in the late 2000s have been desecrated and turned into a place of ethnic bantering and insults instead of where we come to enrich ourselves with knowledge and constructive criticism, direction and fostering of friendship and unity amongst all divide.

Just imagine what makes front page.

Seun and his moderators are to blame. Look at the blogger and how they rushed to conclusion. Young Gen Z mother, how old is she? Nothing of such in the report. They just assumed and want us to bash women and gen z.

Nigerians are annoying with their judgemental opinions most times. She's a first time mother obviously and sought opinions from the public probably there's someone out there whos had such experience. Especially with our hospitals notorious for misdiagnosis. In a country suffering from high unemployment and inflation, how many people can afford the try and error of Nigerian hospitals?.

I believe she wants to get an opinion, perhaps from someone that has had a similar experience or medical personnels online so as to have some knowledge as she finds her way to the nearest hospital if possible.

If you don't have an opinion to assist her, shut your mouth.... Gen z.... Yen yen yen yen.

Coming from folks that not married or even thinking of getting married the next 10 years. Or from human dinosaur

It is not that the child is looking up. That's not the issue. My concern is that the child is unable to focus her eyes, particularly the pupils. That's a sign of cognitive dysfunction.

The child is most likely on the autism spectrum.

Oh Chim!
There is nothing wrong with the child ooooooooo
At that age, they do not focus on any one thing for too long and they do not yet have full control of their head. There is nothing wrong with the child oooooooo! angry

A young Gen-Z mother has sparked a flurry of reactions online after sharing a video of her baby with two wide-open eyes fixated on the ceiling. In the clip, the concerned mother can be heard asking if anyone else has experienced this, rather than seeking medical advice. shocked

The mother flaunted her baby in the video while seeking opinions from her followers, prompting a wave of mixed reactions from netizens. While some found the post amusing, others were far less sympathetic. One comment read: "It’s hard to believe some people are regarded as 'mothers.' Instead of taking the child to the hospital, she’s busy seeking likes and comments on social media." shocked

I don't know why people on this platform are always in a hurry to insult someone! This should have served as a very important/educative issue. From my point of view the child has a brain dysfunction, this is educative in the sense that it is a rare syndrome! You guyz should take it easy on the young mother, she is already confused not knowing what to do.

As babies grow, they begin to develop their neck and head control. Looking up is part of their physical development and helps strengthen their muscles.

I understand how some people feel, but there's a child involved that may not be getting the care they need. So the focus should be on the kid.

I know a girl that was exactly that way when she was a toddler. Today she is a perfectly healthy 11yr old girl.
