The more the creation of states, the more the liability created. More states is not what we need at this point of time. Our coexistence needs to be renegotiated, our forms and running or govt needs to be revisited. There is an ultimate need for a referendum. We should not prioritize what will bring no succor to the people of the state for what the states really need. The creation of more states only beings wealth and an underserved soup of plate for a selected politicians who are not up to 100 .

Land mass is not a criterion when new federating units are being created in a country that was founded for different regions. Balance of power and federal allocations between the founding regions are considered foremost.

There's Ika in Igbanke and a few other places in Orhiomwon Local Government, even though there presence there was a travesty.

Samuel Ogbemudia mom is from there, while he was governor, in trying to favour them, he influenced the carving out of Igbanke from other Ika communities in the Ika nation, so they could "benefit" from his government.
