Why is Tinubu forcing imported Petro on Nigerians
Re: Imported Petrol Landing Cost Drops To N900/litre by chatinent: 4:04pm On Dec 13, 2024
Another day to make it look like it is cheaper to import from Malta refineries, and more expensive at home( after balabumatics was done on Danggote).

But Dangote is still selling at over 1000 naira. Tinubu does not mean well for this country. He is opposite of what he fought GEJ for. Very wicked and callous man

How does he not mean well?

It is a free market. It is left to others to undercut him and steal market share.

Tinubu has tried by not making Dangote a monopoly by not banning imported petrol as stated in the Petroleum Industry Act.

The prices the marketers choose to sell is their business.

This is one of the reasons why I want the importation of Petroleum products to continue...

Aliko Dangote cannot be selling higher than these guys that imported their products...

Dangote should not be given the breathing space to monopolize the Market ...

Importation should continue...

Dangote Refinery and other local refineries should continue processing....

They should flood the market with PMS, that way the price will remain down and stable for a while.
whr is the down and stable sir? You mean #1100 is down?

Simple. No one is buying imported fuel as much as before, so the next thing they have to do is to make product attractive...hence the fall in prices.

I don't expect low prices though. Making and selling fuel costs money. The era of N100 and below for a liter of fuel is over.

You are looking beautiful this morning, my dear succubus.

As you are a troll, I cannot answer your question, as I have taken an oath not to answer questions of trolls, but as you know, my beautiful succubus, your hair does look so bright this morning, and your skin is as fair as the trees of glion, and your figure is as graceful as the pelican....

so what made the landing cost high previously?

You should be ashamed of yourself. They are suddenly telling you that imported fuel is 900 per litre when our neighbours are selling it at almost 2000. I thought you said we can only sell petrol at profit here if the price is comparable with our neighbours.
Now you're defending an open display of fraud whereby imported fuel is cheaper than local refined fuel. When I told you that it was importation that killed refineries in Nigeria you were here writing rubbish that it's subsidy.

If prices are falling in Lagos, expect them to fall across the nation

#900 is not the final price. Regulatory charges and profit will be added to arrive at the final price. Stop insulting a patriotic Nigerian. The importers are not creating jobs but the refiners are creating jobs. Be wise.

I bought it yesterday, Friday evening for #1010 in Ibadan. They told me it was the one from IPMAN and not NNPC when I asked them why is it cheaper than NNPC as my NNPC plug do sells theirs for #1025 in Epe, Lagos.
I had to also buy few liters in a mobil oil keg with litre reading to confirm their pump reading and surpassed my expectations.

my brother the matter no tire you ..

Whatever doesn't reflect on nozzle price no concern us..

...also, if the pump price does not go back to N195 or below, where the Ape in Aso Rock met it, everything they are doing is nonsense.

You can't be doing the same thing you criticized & condemned GEJ of, subjecting the poor masses to untold hardship, and want the people to be happy with you.

The dedollarization of crude oil purchase will lower the price of petroleum products. As more people join BRICS prices will drop further. Things improve when Monopolies are taken down.

I saw you crying all over Nairaland looking for pity claiming I promised to flog you. It was a pitiable sight to be honest.

Like how old are you?

Now you want to divert from the point I made about your previous lies.

Tell us how imported fuel is suddenly cheaper than locally refined fuel

I thought you said petrol ain't cheap. How come the imported is cheaper than the refined one?

All our neighbours are still having far higher fuel price than ours with no subsidy. How did it happen?
