It is Nigerians using their route to Spain that has caused the Giant of Africa to now become a shame and a disgrace. A route that has been used since PDP times as it happens.

just imagine - these bastards said they were not Africans when they got to the semi-finals of the world cup - but Cameroun's performance in 1990 world cup and Nigeria's performance in 1994 world cup gave Africa 5 slots at the Mundial which Morocco benefitted from in 1998 world cup - why dont they go to the middle east and slug it out in the world cup qualifiers - and watch the likes of Saudi Arabia, UAE win the ticket to the world cup ahead of them - yeye Mo Fo's grin

That of Okocha was purely a guilt feeling by CAF that Nigeria was over dominating Africa and it will make other countries feel left out

Because Rashidi won in 1993, Amunike 1994, Kanu 1996, Ikpeba 1997 - So Okocha winning in 1998 would have meant that in 6 straight
years, Nigerians won the CAF Player of the year 5 times, they had to look the other way and try to make it look fair BUT Okocha deserved it.

That scandal with his ex-wife will continue to hunt his chances. On and off the pitch character are major considerations.

However, in this year's CAF awards, no African players could have competed with Ademola. He is poles ahead.

The foregoing notwithstanding, hardly do defenders win major football individual awards.

No defender has ever won the CAF POTY.

What are they saying?

At club level, Lookman achieved more. He won Europa, but PSG won local league.

At international level, Nigeria got a Silver in Afcon, but Morocco was nowhere to be found.

At individual level, Lookman scored more goals and even got a hat trick in one of the matches that mattered most in European soccer.

So, wetin these Moroccans want again? Shuuu!
