Not even N900?

Haba, these people are really making life miserable for us.

I wish I can venture into electric cars (EVs) to make people value these EVs to fuel cars.

SiIk:
Please the oil marketers regulated ? O are they independent ?

If so, why did the government allowed them to roam about independently, thereby causing hardship to average Nigerian

The industry has been deregulated.

You also can apply for license to import and you can sell at N500 per litre.

950 is still too much if Dangote is selling at 899

Put infrastructures for electric vehicles and engines, you will see nobody will crave for fuel vehicle or engines.

It's still not up to..
300 is ok because the old man met it at 260 within a year it 1000, past leaders didn't take it up to that amount for 8 years each of them

For us to get the infrastructre for ev we need to first generate 100000 MW daily, plus build the grid that can carry higher than that...a grid that can sustain millions of EV at a go.

(Don't mention solar, solar).

Also, EV are expensive. Innoson's EV costs at least 8 million if not more naira. BYD...the chinese automaker...sells their cheapest EV at 3990 euros...Tesla sells theirs at 40000 dollars.

Buying, even at second hand, e go cost.

Plus, note that the time it takes to charge an EV...and the cost...adds to your power bill. E no cheap.

Plus, 99% of our mechanics cannot fix or maintain an EV. They would have to be retrained, plus we would have to change the way our monotechnics, polytechnics and faculty of engineering works....to get enough people to fix EV's in this country. Otherwise, if your car breaks down for Jebba and the local mechanics are confused by the EV parts therein, whom you go call.

All the above costs money. To fix our power sector self requires 10 trillion naira in annual investments for at least 10 years, and then we have to upgrade the grid.

And battery is not cheap o.

These markers activities need to be regulated if nothing like this is in place yet. There should be maximum amount they can add to purchase price of any product they bought else, they are bent or milking Nigerians dry.

Who is regulating the price of rice and chicken and other items needed for the season?

Why should a deregulated market be regulated at the same time
