You'd be shocked that there'd be many people in that vicinity that would need such help. But i agree in naija there'd be even more who would have appreciated it.

I am curious why he didn't do something like this in Nigeria.Who need free food for Christmas in the UK?

Stampede is an orchestrated plan by politicians to take human blood. It's a modern and clean way of redeeming their vows. Take food items to any state or area, invite people to come pick theirs. At least, one must die.

Or tell people there's a gathering for a social discussion, invite a lot of people and throw gift at them. One person must die. Our politicians know what being organised is all about. They know how to go about it and nobody will lose their lives. But for the reason explained above they'd look the other way. People should stop honouring such calls cos heads dey different. Head strong pass head.

By the way, Alex Iwobi did a good job but UK people no hungry reach naija in this tinubu era. He should have come home to do the same, same way some of our footballers had done in the past.

I think he was born and brought up there, he attended primary school in that area, so that's the spirit.

Honestly I thought it's only in Nigeria we have poor people fa.

One of the first set of people who turned up there was a Nigerian who claims he will on family support but most unfortunately who will definitely have people claiming their uncle is abroad.

Bros no b redeeming any vows, Nigerians are d kind of people that can't follow reasonable order. Ordinary collection of course form in university students dey match themselves

Even when lawyers did their annual meeting last year there was stampede when it comes to sharing of souvenirs

The major reason for stampede is because some people want to have it when it's not their turn n it turns to free for all

Stampede is not even a Nigeria thing

Thanks for your reasonable response to the fella you quoted. To add to your submission, it is not a secret that Nigerians enjoy disorderliness. The easiest pointer to that is the way Nigerians drive on the road, instead of maintaining single lanes you would often see them creating chaos on the road, except when there are law enforcement officers on the road compelling them to do what is right.

However, lessons are never learnt because Nigerians like to blame other persons but themselves. Until we learn to take responsibilities we ain't going no where as a people. It is sad.

Last time I checked, everyone saw the video of adults who died struggling for cups of rice just days after their idiotic brethren mocked others for dieing in a stampede.

I insist, the gift will make much impact in Okija. Not to mention for the parishioners of CKC, Ngwa road Aba,
