It’s Sad Celebrating Christmas While Nnamdi Kanu Remains In Detention – Ohanaeze by Edygrin(m): 11:14am On Dec 26, 2024
As Christians all over the world celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the Igbo apex cultural group Ohanaeze Ndigbo said that it is very sad that the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is still in detention.

The Secretary General of Chidi Ibeh led faction of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, in a statement noted that Ohanaeze Ndigbo wishes all Ndigbo both at home and in the diaspora a joyous and fulfilling Christmas season but regretted that prolonged detention of Nnamdi Kanu is worrisome.

He noted with dismay that observations revealed that top political leaders, specifically two serving governors from the zone and a former governor are those behind the continuous detention of the Kanu, noting that they are consumed by their individual ambitions for the 2027 vice president position.

According to Isiguzoro, the public proclamation of “Release Nnamdi Kanu” serves as mere rhetoric while their behind-the-scenes machinations suggest a direct message to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu: “Do not release Nnamdi Kanu immediately”, tagging them as enemies of the Ndigbo.

He maintained that this duplicity poses a grave threat to the peace and stability of the Southeast.

He insisted that the escalating violence and insecurity that plague the Southeast region can be traced back not solely to external influences but to the dereliction of duty by these leaders, who become notable beneficiaries of the security votes allocated to them amid this unrest.

Ohanaeze Ndigbo is unequivocal in stating that the naiveté displayed by some of these politicians regarding Nnamdi Kanu’s release is alarming. Furthermore, one Governor’s neutral stance only underscores their singular focus on securing their own re-election rather than addressing the critical issues facing our people,” he said.

Foolish talk

Nnamdi Kanu is a self described Jew convert and Jews hate Christmas and Christ more than anything.

The same set of loud mouth-wailing wailers who will cry if any Bokoharam member is released is the same set of fools asking the govt to release the LEADER of the IPOB cannibal terrorist group.

The level of hypocrisy from the SE is simply astonishing.
Namdiot Coward Cownu should be tried and sentenced to DEATH.
Anything less is a travesty of justice.

I still wonder why Nigerians are not reporting characters like this calling for the release of MNK, a confirmed terrorist leader who instigated the killing of several innocent Nigerians with 90% of which are the people he claims he wants to liberate to International communities to give them visa ban for supporting terrorist group who are forcing people to sit at home on Mondays and who ever dare goes out is killed set ablaze and beheaded in several cases. The harm this group has done to our communities is despicable and to see people like this keep calling for his release is totally repulsing.

It is high time we start calling this people calling for his release as terrorist as well cos how do you justify calling for the release of a mass murderer who has turned an entire region into a killing field.
