How can you be making such money as the network with the highest subscribers without paying charges.

The issue is not with MTN but Exchange Telecommunications Nig. Ltd. MTN is trying to draw the charges they are being owned.

So ncc should allow them to operate for free?

We must support ours to grow. At the early years of GSM. Inside villages in Imo, Anambra and Abia states, it is only glo that was effective. MTN was only capturing cities.

Just send an email to them.
Email is considered as the best way for international business communication.
Yes, I do send email, but for quicker action I prefer to call, explain and get immediate action. Follow up request for documentation is done via email.
Eg, few months ago I had difficulties logging into my PayPal after changing my device. No way email could have sorted that out, there had to be physical call, answered security questions, sorted it out and even changed my UK number to a Nigerian one considering my foreign sim card had expired.
Re: NCC Approves MTN Disconnection Over Unpaid Charges by baloney: 8:11am On Dec 28, 2024
ncc, exchange limited & MTN should settle well these communication exchange shocked

Fg pls upgrade the barricade along Lagos Ibadan expressway under construction with a walkthrough/roadwalk/crossthrough that connects both side of the lanes at certain convenient distance intervals e.g 50-500m intervals with a clear path/bridge (that even the weak& blind/visually-challenged can navigate/use with minima help] across/0n the drainage culvert that will links with both sides of the walkthrough where applicable & pls stop building further inconveniences especially on a large scale like on this express route accross.
Crossing the highway & express his still a daily exchange oooo that should be safe convenient... That road his now faster & busier and so requires better access & quicker usage time climbing barricades & jumping open culvert drainage inbetween the road might not be always ideal...
Am not so sure but similar other roads across the road network will be calling for this similar upgrade as well...
Maintaining this proposed access point after upgrade & completion should not cost the governance much to maintain in the budgets. and other financial whatever, it could even be a income generating source for the government by endorsing bids for placing ads in areas around busy crossing routes where appropriate,so there in further able to engage the masses even before the elections not to talk of the igr that can be generated from companies that will definitely be interested in reaching more customer "everybody walks somehow and people try to take note or notice better while they walkthrough/workthrough their regular routes placing ads in these specific & popular access points can be effective link in reaching diverse connects of networks & means".... And so on like that, if by any means anyone needs further details forward Ur comments to me via this channel and I will try and respond.

Is it the same NCC that has remained insensitive to the plight of Nigerians going through hell due to poor services by these telcos?
When NCC was led by Engr. Ndukwe , we all know how he sanctioned these telcos and made them stay on their toes.
Ever since he left, NCC has been a weak regulator.
