How does all these change the facts that the economy has been battered? Can a market woman that uses just 2k to prepare a pot of soup before now understand your story? As far as the reform has not impacted the life of a common man positively,he has done nothing. No one reward effort but results
We will go on a merry go round with your argument. I captured several reforms and asked you what reform you will carry on that will yield result in less than 2 years, yet you’ve been quiet.

The economic frustration started with Buhari and current pains are results of critical but needed reforms. I earlier had mentioned that the inflation is gradually slowing down, you are yet to counter this.

Again, as a president, what reform will you take on that will crash dollar to 1 naira in less than two years?

So why do you keep mentioning them in every thread even when it has nothing to do with them? The obsession is funny tho grin cheesy

So in your dull brain, APC didn't get any votes from the igbos? This can only come from an agbado munching nitwit like you grin

As good as this LG autonomy is, Obidients will rather support its opposition bcs it is Tinubu. Regionalism and true federalism in motion for their easy realisation of Biafra but bcs it is Tinubu, they will rather die slaves in Nigeria than have their Biafra while Jagaban is the president. Hypocrisy undecided
Mumu talk

It's time for local governments chairmen to start moving in convoys with hundreds of aid made up of family members and close friends.

40% of the funds will be budgeted for cost of governance. The remaining 50% will be for salary payments toward an overblown payroll full with cronies and family members with majority not even residing or spending in the LGA.

The 10% will be for ineffective, mushrooms projects like purchasing of keke, buying wheelbarrows, renovating health care center without equipments and essential drugs. For those who choose to buy expensive equipments and amenities, they'll be lack of trained health care staff which in the long run those things become a waste.

Oh the schools! Yeah they'll be renovation of some class room blocks here and there, overblown staffers which are not qualified for they're own chairman goodwill, hell even some buying of books, uniform or payment of waec here and there at 3x the original cost...

All in all, it'll just lead to a newer sharing of money in the grassroots among few cronies, it'll even be better if the money is circulated there in the grassroots but no those chairman will rather invest in estates in state capitals, build businesses in Lagos, build private schools in state capital rather than the LGA and end up circulating the wealth in another location.

No innovative thinking, no effective health/education investment and staff welfare, agricultural investment would be for personal gain. And when they decide to do empowerment they'll rather share money and food, no innovative long term plans.... This my people is how an average Nigerian leader think.

My friend SHUT UP.

Go and stereotype your fada.

“Fuel!” I have answered your question, quit the rigmarole and answer mine. If you were president and would carry out far reaching reforms, what will you do that will have immediate effect on the naira to bring it at par with the dollar?

In another post, some persons questioned the admission by an Obidient that Tinubu is doing well and I wondered why we operate on extremes.
If Obi does well, commend him.
If Tinubu does well, commend him and if he fails, criticize him.
I have always been critical of APC as Buhari left us a sour taste. I even believe APC rigged the last elections, but you cannot but commend Tinubu’s reforms. I swear you can’t.

From A.G’s pronouncement on Local Government to tax reforms, power reforms, Ports coming alive (Onne Port) etc. You see a clear departure from Buhari’s style. He is more involved, show better understanding of economic dynamics atleast from his last media chat. He also has shown he is more of a liberal, he no carry religion for head like Buhari.

While I have reservations on his approach to removing subsidy, I’ll be lying if I say the inflation hasn’t slowed down with the economy showing signs of recovering.

Buhari been mess this country and I hated APC for it. APC faithfuls should be humble enough to admit we wasted 8 years. They also should be able to apologize for campaigning against Jonathan’s plan to remove subsidy.

You can't actually sat 8yrs is a waste. The refineries (portharcout and warri) reviving now is the handwork of buhari. Don't forget buhari government faced RECESSION AND COVID-19, yet we're not that affected in cash flow by these pandemics. Also, some critical infrastructures he embark on and about 80% were completed. He is not perfect but he still performed better than other PDP past presidents.

Very good development. Kudos to the FG and Attorney General

Fagbemi had threatened to initiate contempt proceedings against defiant governors who failed to comply with the July 11 Supreme Court judgment.

Justifying councils’ financial autonomy, Fagbemi said: “Local government autonomy is meant to empower the grassroots, not enrich individuals.

“Any chairman found guilty of diverting funds will face severe legal consequences.”
Very good mr Fagbemi

What infrastructures? Apart from the Second Niger Bridge, I can’t think of any. Benin-Sapele Road has been in disarray. His handling of security was terrible. What led to the recessions you claim? Who were those in his economic team that you can rate ahead of GEJ or Tinubu’s team? He never even had ministers in his government until after 6months. Who does that? His concern was RUGA, cow, cow and cow.
I still try to wrap my head around Buhari placing a ban on twitter.

U see, u by urself said u are obEdient, but my message was for obIdient. Obidients are igbos emilokan.
They have no interest in Nigeria, they only want to have opportunity to get presidency and loot Nigeria to revamp SE. Emefiele is a case study. Obidients are Obi zombie loyalists, 100% igbos and can never see anything bad in him, so far he is the only sureress and easiest way igbo can get that seat. ObEdient that u claim u are, are good Nigerians who want true change for the country but believe it can be through any good leader not necessarily Peter Obi. So in summary all Obidients are igbos and Obi zombies but not all ObEdients are igbos and Obi supporters.

Thank you for successfully confusing me... Right now, I just need somewhere to wine off, cos it's the last day of the year 2024 and I refuse to be confused

Very good... We must restructure Nigeria by force.... D only issue now is... Hope local government chairman no go chop money?
its a disguise by Tinubu to control the local government and remove them from the control of the governors, this is about elections ,nothing good can come from Tinubu, you have to look properly to see his hidden intentions he does not do things for free, except he wants to benefit, the palliatives he normally distribute at bourdon is in exchange for the votes of the people
The people he made in quote, are for the purpose of being his footsoldiers since he can't be everywhere
So don't tell us what we know
