the stats is talking about people not the state

Ogun state has more industries than Ekiti state yet Ogun state indigenes are more poverty stricken than Ekiti state indigenes on the average?

That surely makes a lot of sense!

I can tell you for a fact that most of these statistics are fake and concocted to give the semblance that the bureau is working.

The statistics you see statisense and NBS publishing can not stand any data Audit.

Nigeria has no solid database nor repository from which data like this cab be pulled.
Seconded.

Still wandering how plateau/Benue has high poverty rate than all the Eastern state.

Yen yen yen, everybody talks about the problem but nobody wants to be part of the solution. If government is useless, private individuals should be useful, there's nothing stopping each financially okay individual to adpot a street or two, provide borehole for them, teach them how to grow food, basic survival things.

This was how the Jews were able to overcome tragedy after the Holocaust but for nigerians na cho cho cho, no workings!

Enugu and ebonyi should be ceded to northern Nigeria. Shame on more especially Enugu that was even once a regional center for the eastern region.

Why can’t we hand over this country to the Japanese government for 15 years to build, operate and transfer since we have mostly clowns as leaders in this country? The president TeePayne was just announced this week as the most corrupt president globally.

Tinubu don destroy this country after Buhari do him own

Its not matter of Tinubu. We are dealing with a massive youth population that is largely lazy and unemployable. The education system we have is a major problem- grooming young people to be job seekers of jobs that dont exist. Then add our religious fanatism e,g what God cannot do does not exist, unmerited favours etc, it is a catastrophe that has long been coming.

Average Nigerian youth wants to be a billionaire overnight with no effort or input. They go for get rich quick schemes, MMM, Sport betting etc instead of building meaningful skills and offering same for financial gain.

They're just pulling numbers out of thin air. If you believe these numbers, then you should believe I just landed from Mars. Statistics in Nigeria is a joke.

Dey play. If you live in Lagos, look around and see which tribe has the poorest people in Lagos where every geopolitical zone in Nigeria is fully represented. It's still the Hausas. You will see large gatherings of Hausa beggers spread across the south west. Isn't that an evidence that they are extremely poor notwithstanding the fact that they have ruled Nigeria more? What they did was give themselves the best infrastructure in terms of the roads but did not invest in human development.

How exactly do you know they are faked? How can you say "for a fact" that these data are concocted from the comfort of your house?
If you read the reports they publish, they mention how that they send trained agents out to the streets to collect data over a three-month period and these agents are subjected to daily evaluations to ensure that they're collecting accurate data.

Below is a section on their data collection method in one of the many reports they've published.

Tinubu is not the only cause of Nigeria's poverty and problems...

the major cause of Nigeria's poverty is the Western institutions that don't want to see any black nation prosper..

It is western influence that made t:inuboooo to devalue the naira which spoilt the purchasing power of every Nigerian.

you guys don't understand their hatred for black people globally especially those in Africa..

india annual budget is ₹48 trillion which is equal to $560 billion ( with a population over 1.4billion people

while Nigeria annual budget is ₦28 trillion which is equal to $36 billion ( with a population of 200million people )..

my point is Western powers claim Nigeria's population is the reason for ₦ Naira's bad currency conversion to the dollar..

but India with a population 7 seven times Nigeria's own is not affected by the same bad currency conversion to the dollar..

if you reduce india annual budget to ₹28 trillion similar to Nigeria ₦28 trillion..

india's ₹28 trillion is still equal to $326 billion...

the Naira is a weapon fashioned against Nigeria and Nigerians by the Western powers.
