Leaders from the Orashi Region in Rivers State where a former governor of the State, Sir Dr Peter Odili hails from, have apologized to the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike on behalf of their Son.

They apologized at the special new year luncheon hosted by Wike on Friday in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

Dr Odili has accused Wike of wanting to make Rivers State his personal estate.

But Wike who was seriously offended at the statement from Odili heavily lashed at him verbally.

It's not about hunger, that odili did was wrong. Wike gave him his due respect as a governor, aside that, he is expected to be an elder statesman in Nigeria, especially in Rivers State affairs. Between Wike and dubara, he should play fatherly role.
