Local refining has always been a solution

However, it must be said that Nigerians should be amazed at how fuel price dropped to 935 when the majority of fuel is imported.

I thought imported petrol can't be cheap below exchange rate. How come imported petrol is now competing with locally refined fuel at the rate of $0.6 when petrol is being sold $0.8 on average at the cheapest rate worldwide? What happened to all the calculations of landing cost that we used to be bamboozled with?

If there's no subsidy presently and Nigerian petrol is still far cheaper than US, UK and our neighbours and is actually comparing with Saudi and Libya in terms of price, that shows that subsidy payment has been a scam all along. Nigerians were being robbed blind.
All those who ever paid subsidy or protested against its removal should be shot
That is the more you look, the less you see that has been happening in Nigeria for a long time.
This is why I support T-Pain.
It is a gradual thing.

I may not understand all these long epistle but I know simply that they more the merrier, meaning,if there are more refineries, there will be competition, with that, prices will come down,to what extent?I don't know,it's just simple economics.

It was met at N87

Yaradua regime, the price of fuel was 65 naira per litre ...GeJ regime met it at 65 per litre but was later raised to 87 naira per litre couple with heavy subsidy and additional borrowing... and during the Bihari regime, it was raised to 340 naira per litre due to heavy subsidy and additional borrowing.

Bihari and GeJ add to the country's debt, whereas Baba Tinubu pays it off and reduces our debt servicing burden by 50% in the first quarter of this year.

Now, comparing the price of fuel per litre when it was heavily subsidized to the same fuel when it is no longer subsidized is absurd....perhaps you do not understand the meaning of subsidy... Google will help you.

It should. It truly the Warri refinery is truly working.
We'll be depending less on imported refined petrol. Exchange rate might drop to ₦1,300 and petrol to ₦780
