Beautiful!
This is how organized every village and towns should be. I think Abia state and Imo state are the best planned areas in South east

Enugu.

I guess nobody will tell Igbo man leave our land & go home. Why? Cos, it's on default that for decades, from every 1 December to 31 January is mass return for every Igbo man or woman. Where do they go to? They go to their 'land' for various reasons: Umunna, family meetings, Introduction, knocking at the door, wedding & Traditional Marriages, Settling boys after apprenticeships, several township developmental purposes, buy/sell land, start foundations, peace meetings, celebrating graduations for those that travelled overseas, settling disputes, house opening/warming, REUNIONS, etc etc etc

Breaking News: Anoda Unique Mass Return is 2025. Just like 2010, 2015,2020, now 2025 (every 5 years).

Start this January to plan for your travelling arrangements (logistics, money, purposes for travelling, means of transportation (air, land, sea).

Don't forget, there are other Mini Mass Returns @ Easter & August Meeting!

May God bless all the works of our hands! Shalom, Godspeed, Assalamalaikum

I'm coming home next month... Couldn't make it this December but February by God's grace. Abriba has always been small London. If Gov Otti can bring industries and tech down here, it will be amazing. We need to start building cities in Abia. No more country home mentality. Cities with viable economies where people live all year round in their millions.

I saw mansions in that axis particularly around Abriba. I just couldn't recognize uzuakoli, item, ovim . Even the governor made the roads super smooth.
And you passed Alayi and couldn't snap pictures of my village? You didn't try o

This is impressive.

This is development,

I keep saying, govt alone can never develop a state. The best the govt can do is provide road, hospitals, schools but the place can remain a jungle if the citizens fail to build and develop their villages.

At best, you will have a good infrasctructure in a jungle

Simply put, a place can never develop if the inhabitants fail to build GOOD HOUSES

Building good houses or living in good neighbourhoods is a factor based on standard of living. The first criteria that shows if people are poor or rich in any country is their living conditions. Example, why are buildings and environments in places like Maitama, Lekki, Victoria island etc very good while those in Mushin, Okokomaiko etc are rundown?

You can't have money and choose to live in slums. Also, even if you move very poor people to beautiful houses and neighbourhoods, it's only a matter of time before they degrade it. That's why I laugh whenever I see fake news bandied as statistics about Oyo or Osun having less poor people than any SE state except perhaps Ebonyi.

South East Nigeria has by far the least incidence of poverty in Nigeria. A simple assessment of their living conditions will prove this!

Umuoma/ugm/esn did worse.
Villages became ghost towns as result of junkies with ak47 recruited by their demonic savior 1 and 2 now they have a female savior lets see how it goes. .
Can you dare to be objective for once? You dont help yo solve te problems if all you do is to point at the wrong directions for solutions. You are too stiff and fixated on ipob all the time. They're not the ones governing Imo state.

Enugu state is igboland too. Ditto Abia that is more Imo than Imo! So why are the socalled "Umuoma/ugm/esn" a menace in Imo but not in these other igbo states. Have you read of the massive corruption and executive brigandage going on under Hope Uzodimma in Imo state?

You see, your problem is that you suffer from a very nasty strand of IPOBphobia. It makes you thoughtless with these your outbursts.

You're concept is wrong. I challenge you to read documents about precolonial Igbo country. Igbo have always been highly organized people since time immemorial. I'm usually amused when you people classify Igbo based on recent colonial and Nigerian geographic expression. In reality, there's essentially nothing like Imo, Abia, Enugu and the rest. Igbo are people of very similar culture and habit and all Igbo communities, towns, villages and hamlest are organized.

So, states shouldn't exist because Igbos have similar cultures?
Igboland has always been divided into clans and other administrative units from time immemorial

Your ESN is wrecking havoc everywhere. It's worse in Anambra than Imo now. IPOB is a menace to Igboland.
You are not the government but you were instituting sit at home and esn and all manner of forceful activities on the people. Ndi ara

We only hear from folks like you when it is time to behead the esn. Where were you when the herdsmen were killing and raping all through enugu and Ebonyi border communities?

One thing I like about the Igbos, even in their most interior villages, you hardly find mid houses and brown roofs

The problem will not be solved until those who are supporting these criminal agitators stop doing so and many of those who are supporting them genuinely believed the criminals are freedom fighter which they are not.My job is to keep exposing them and keep people well informed about IPOB deadly activities in SE.Security situation is better in Abia,Ebonyi and Enugu state because the people are better informed and refused to join hands with enemies of Igboland to make their respective states ungovernable like Imo state.
Recently the criminal agitators have built camps in Ohafia some other places in Abia state but trust me they won't prosper in that area because the people will not give them the needed support to succeed like in Orlu or Ihiala and turn their towns into a ghost communities. They are not stupid.

Marginalisation of the east and impositions of corrupt politicians as leaders are the main reasons for the limited security challenges in the east. Every other factors are just symptoms of these two evil diseases. Treat the main illnesses or the symptoms, your choice.

Is cutting off the head the cure for headache?
That is exactly what the criminal agitators are doing.
Btw the way they are not fighting any marginalization they are just into crime.
You can't be killing, kidnapping, rob same people you pretend to fight for.

They have all abandoned their ancestral homes, Lagos is their new heritage.
The City that was developed with federal resources as a capital.
