Better, go home they needed you in your village than dragging land in another man's land, go home, charity begins at home.

I know some inconsequential chest beaters tribalist will start masturbating now.

Go home go and confront that demon chasing you away from your land.

Oga Paul, charity begins at home. Expand your business to your region. Hospitality business is thriving in Imo State.

Why not create an artificial lake in Owerri and build a tourist centre in your home state. You invest your money elsewhere, a government comes and ruins everything.

Thank God you said "charity" begins at home, not business.

The relocation wave is surging with intensity. Landmark Group has boldly uprooted and shifted its entire operations. One can only hope that the dominant Niger Delta-owned banks and oil giants will seize the moment, relocating their headquarters—or at least a significant part of their operations—to Port Harcourt. Failure to act now risks leaving the region vulnerable to the next toxic chapter of political neglect and economic marginalization as the proverbial cock crows its timely warning.

Any relocation from Lagos is welcome. Lagos is overcrowded and the quality of life is terrible. More companies should be encouraged to relocated to develop other areas of the country. The new tax bill will help in this regard.

You are obviously not a Nigerian. Or you are simply hiding your head in the sand like an ostrich. Investing heavily outside your state of origin or region is high risk in Nigeria. If you must do that, partner with a local or the government. It get why... Nigeria is hopelessly polarized along ethnic lines.

Lol to the East when South South turn East...

PH in SS is geographically part of Eastern region. That is why the ports there are called Eastern ports.

Dont disturb yourself. Tribalism is like an umbilical Cord to them. They mostly got it from their breast milk. We live with them here and know how it goes

Oga PH is geographically in the east. This was how the old Eastern region was structured.

Port Harcourt don enter East?

Interesting 🤔

Oga PH is geographically in the east. South South is a political construct. Even the ports are addressed as eastern ports.

The relocation of SE and SS businesses from Lagos back to their local regions is suitable for Nigeria's development.

Can you now advise the governor of Akwa Ibom to stop building an 18-storey skyscraper in Lagos and invest in developing the Ibom deepsea port?

In 1991, they said Lagos would collapse when the capital relocated to Abuja; the opposite happened. SE and SS businesses relocating back to Eastern Nigeria will not impact Lagos state.

It will reduce the pressure on Lagos's people regarding housing and social development. Lagos has too much development and should slow down and prioritise social development (E.g., sewage, housing, road, drainage, healthcare) and depopulation.

Located in the heart of Victoria Island, Ibom Towers will serve as an iconic structure aimed at boosting investments and economic ties, directly benefiting Lagos and Akwa Ibom.
Governor Sanwo-Olu welcomed the development, highlighting Lagos’ longstanding role as Nigeria’s centre for commerce.

Geographically PH is located East. What we know as SS and SE was called Eastern region because of geographical coordinates. Even Cross River is actually the south eastern part of Nigeria Geographically.

Did I read that landmark contributed 10bn in taxes to the govt in 2024? If this is true, then it is also lost likely true that the total investment was actually in the region of $30m. shocked
He said Landmark Africa, not landmark beach.
That is assuming he isn't lying about the figures since anybody can quote any figure
because of our government needs and promotes income secrecy to effectively misappropriate funds.

Which one your papa put for the south east. hypocrites will just pen there mouth and whine rubbish. do you know how much it will cost to create an artificial water front. even if them sell Nigerian including all its citizens they may not see money enough to create artificial wave water front. keep deceiving your generation.

Thank you, Lagos.

Thank you, Tinubu.

South South needs more of this.

Now the Rivers state government has to start drawing out blueprints for metro rails and creating friendly business environments for these investments to thrive.
