So Reno is saying that Edo people, Ijaw, Tiv, Itshekiri, Urhobo and Ibibio will now be speaking Mandarin When tribalism overrides a person's brain, they are bound to talk in stupid languages. 8 Likes |

Well... Languages die... A Nigerian Language ought to be introduced as Lingua Franca. Indigenous Languages should be taught at primary and secondary schools and one of them should be the language of instruction maybe according to region... 2 Likes |

PresidObi: I have neighbours who use an app to teach Igbo and Yoruba to children from Nigerian parents in the UK, Australia, Canada and US. These ladies earn over #400k per month teaching Nigerian languages and one idiot is talking about how those languages will go into extinction. Reno Omokri is an ignoramus. That's why I always say that only foolish people follow and engage him online. 6 Likes |

PresidObi: Reno is RIGHT. As an OBidient, It's not Everytime you criticize him. If you have travelled to Yenagoa, Bayelsa, Ijaw is HARDLY spoken. If you are in Benin-City, Bini is HARDLY spoken except by the 60 and 70 year olds. Even the ever Popular Yoruba, the New Generation of Kids CAN'T speak it. The Kids of Wizkid, Davido, Tiwa Savage, Adekunle Gold, etc can NOT speak Y0ruba. So in 30, 40yrs time, Truly, all our Nigerian Languages will DIE! |

If there are presently millions of speakers of a particular language including toddlers, how will that language disappear in 25 years from now? Reno's psychotic mind is operational. 1 Like |

VinnyBaba: I don't think so. I am on ground and can tell you first hand, our languages are not dying. Younger people can speak English and pidgin to feel woke, but slide back to local languages as soon as they are getting old. It's an identity thing. I was in the village for xmas, my language and all its idioms and proverbs are still dominant. 1 Like |

PresidObi: I have a colleague here in London who is Esan in Edo state, his wife is Italian and they have 2 kids, who are 4 and 7. He keyed into technology, using apps to assist in teaching his wife and kids Esan. When I visit his home, his biracial kids greets me in Esan and that is heartwarming. 5 Likes |

He no lie on this. Even Yoruba will go the same way too in about 100years from Now if we continue this nonesense of kids not being able to speak yoruba These are kids that were born here, lived here, never flown abroad o. Yet it is becoming like a crime for some silly and stupid woke Parents if their kids cant speak their language It is even understable for kids abroad if they find it difficult. But kids here,it is what I dont understand As in,I dey shock o 2 Likes |

The Lukumis/Anagos (better and original names to be known by rather “Yoruba” ) have a very rich history and culture. I don’t see the Ijaws going extinct anytime soon. They’ve inhabited the coastal areas of Nigeria and other places in West Africa for over 9,000 years now. |

VinnyBaba: Na Benin pipo own worse pas, in UNIBEN, Ivbiedo will be blowing grammar to each other, then they will start practicing their halting Yoruba with ObviYoruba. Apart from non academic staff, no one speaks Benin to each other consistently over there, sad really. 1 Like |
