tivta:Even the Nigerian Police Force has taken to constantly disregarding the constitution in its dealings with the citizenry. So, what do you want do you want me to say? |

givedemwotowoto: So anambra state government can't even function without local govt funds? Other states like delta, rivers, adamawa and lagos don't even bother to touch funds allocated to their local govts |

givedemwotowoto:The money deposited into the account is marked for LG use, is it not? If the state wishes to have LGs pay taxes on the use of State infrastructure, that is an entirely different thing. But for the state to dip its hands into money allocated for LGs, that is stealing and last I checked, stealing is a crime in Nigeria. So, in this, Anambra is stealing money from its LGs. 2. Look, much of what goes on in Nigeria violates the Nigerian Constitution. We all know this and we all pretend that somehow it is acceptable to continue with this gross misconduct, allowing the problem to continue to balloon. So, as long as the Supreme Law of the land is not held sacrosanct by any agency in that country, including its own people, nothing can go right. |

Kobojunkie: It's because we can see the big picture and not narrow minded chauvinistic ideologues.....tinubu is doing the things he promised in his campaigns,he is definitely walking the talk that's why we voted for him. This particular LG autonomy would be a game changer, if LGs in Lagos they can be further enabled, development would come faster to the grass roots.....roads, education, health care, security that are within the purview of those LG. |

Lithiumite:Like you all saw the big picture during the Buhari scams including the Nigerian Air Scam, and the many money-sharing schemes of those years, all of which we now know were fraudulent exercises? You people are not just worth engaging is all. ππππππ |

Kobojunkie: We should then continue to be hopeless about our country and scourge for bad news all the time to get an erection like you always do.....that was Buhari, this is tinubu,we know the difference if you don't. |

Kobojunkie: For every effort you put in your work every day,it's bourne out of hope to reap the rewards as appropriate......hope begets believe and nations have survived today with the hope that their existence and rights would be guaranteed by the state......it's one of the creeds the US was founded upon ....you can be as narcissistic as you want.....we know whom we voted for and why and we also know magic can't happen overnight but we could start with these little steps. |

2mch:So all corruption and budget padding since 19gbirigidi, they had invented auditors since or na North Korea auditors dey audit those books? They have not audited Ajaokuta steel company or those moribund refineries since, ba? Just focus on the local bolded. More Local Food. Like OSHO Baba said. Each LGA will now have one local billionaire (LGA chairman) instead of one Billionaire (the Governor). It's a bit more sharing of food. Make nr dey fool ourselves. |
